I mean paying for the Trilogy instead of buying each individually. Unless you got a sweet deal, you're better off waiting until the Holiday sales and buying them individually.

yeah he's some dutch model. it'd be awesome to be him, i'd walk around in a fuckin N7 suit all the time.

as for my ME adventure. Did all the citadel stuff, spent like 4 hours there. Then booked it to save Liara. Fight vs the Krogan was tough as always. Then cleared the whole cluster, finding 2 more planets to land on. Headed off to Feros, decided to clear the other cluster in the system before landing there, found another planet to visit. Had to track down the monkey who stole the data disc. The geth ambush was fucking intense, my first death on hardcore came here. 2 Destroyers (destroyers, already? I know there's always one on Eden Prime, but you kill it from a distance and he doesn't use it's full arsenal of ability)..anyways, 2 of them just rushed in and overwhelmed. 2nd attempt I found a side mining tunnel to backtrack down, used it as a bottleneck to deal with them, still wasn't easy.

Off to Feros to kill the Thorian Creature.

Cdr. Shepard learns the difference between right and wrong:

After surviving the Tube of Doom on the way to rescuing Liara, then scooping her up to my Space Hooptie, it was time to start in on some UNC missions.

Anything from searching out distress calls that turned out to be a Geth trap (my rifle hurts just the same if I were surprised as well as tactically sound in the situation, stupid robots); finding out why Pro-Lifers can be found anywhere in the universe; getting coupons for Asari wares and services in exchange for Fraternal Assassination...

Much fun was had by all as I'm a huge proprietor of shooting things for gear, XP and Squad conversation.

...the added plus of working for the good guys is icing on the cake.

The latest mission I undertook made me feel a little uneasy as I fought my way into a facility where a local doctor was being held hostage by one Cpl. Toombs.

Given my history with this series, Toombs' apparent paranoia about shadow organizations named Cerberus (backed earlier by Admiral Hackett as he brought it up first but... the two of their testimonies would hold together even worse than my earlier claim of "SAREN IS BAD!!!11 REAPERS!!!11" with the Council) is well-founded.

Back to the story, canon-wise, Shepard still really doesn't know shit about Cerberus and being unable to talk him down with the ol' Paragon Easy Button, I had to put Toombs down.

I didn't want to but in this situation, if the Scientist has something to hide, someone's gonna beat it out of him sooner or later.

Doesn't make me feel better about it though, even if I was following orders.

I'm really interested in the Leviathan DLC after hearing Brad and Vinny talk about it, but I don't plan on playing any Mass Effect for a while.

Update on my ME1 session. Taken a couple days off but made srs progress.

Finished Feros. Raided the ExoGeni building and destroyed the Geth. Put a bullet in that prick Jong for being cool with the people of Zhu's Hope being mind controlled. Managed to destroy the Thorian without dying, a tough battle on regular difficulty, on hardcore was intense, many near death moments. Saved all the people's of Zhu's hope to impress Liara (in hopes she licks my vag), but FemShep really doesn't give a fuck how the job gets done, just as long as it does.

After Feros, we decided to explore a few clusters and about 20 systems. Landing on about 5-7 planets, cruising in mah Rover and kicking some geth dicks in. Some asshole setup a beacon to lead me INTO A TARP!!!!! But I diffused the bomb and destroyed the incoming ambush (on my 2nd go at it). Found some cool Prothean shit I don't know if I ever came across before ever, this weird floating orb that generates a bunch of text story to talk about some dream...and this pyramid that doesn't do too much, but was cool to stumble on.

Had a distress call to go save Admiral Kaohku, but those assholes at Cerberus left him to die in a prison cell filled with Rachni, so fuck him he's dead, but I got some XP and loots so whatever. Boarded a couple ships, found some dead dude with lungs on life support, then this crazy biotic bitch came out to stop me from ending it for the guy, but my Katana VI shotgun with hammerhead mods knocked her the fuck out. Liara wanted me to end it for the dead husk of a person, so I did, again, fuck me with your tentacles baby.

After a couple hours of random missioning, I then went back to the Citadel and turned in a few quests. Then was sent to the Earth's Moon to fuck up some Batarians, which is where I took a break. Level 32 for the group so far and lots to go. Maybe I could hit level 60 in one playthrough? I recall my first ever go was around level 55.

I am getting the itch to start the Mass Effect 3. I blew through 1 and 2 and just stopped.
