Yep I miss those days. I loved that team. Still can't believe they got swept in the finals

Looking for some games today if anyone is around. Want to bring out that old school magic again!

Anyone know of ways to get the All Star Break DLC? For some reason, my pre order for Newegg.com didn't come with it. My Career player is in the dunk contest but so far Ebay is the only place I've seen that people have it; not willing to pay for it. I doubt anyone has a copy they aren't using but does anyone know if the user gets to play the Rising Stars Challenge and All Star game even if they didn't get the DLC?

I'd contact newegg customer service to see why you didnt get a code. Some people who ordered from bestbuy had to wait until about a week after release to be mailed a code. The gamestop customers had the code printed on their receipts i believe.

You cant play in the all star weekend stuff if you dont have the DLC. They might release the DLC at a cost in the future on marketplace/ps store but they havent announced it yet.

^I got to play in the Rising Stars Challenge and I didn't have a code. Got a trophy because of it, too. I don't know if that was part of that package though.

Is VC used for anything in Association mode?

Can you "buy" skills like you can in mycareer or is it all progression based?

If you really wanted to, you can go to edit player and max out all of their attributes. Unless this game is different.

edit: I tried to get the game to post the pictures on my FB but the link is broken on my page. It did link with my YouTube account but the videos unfortunately have no audio...not even Sound FX.

edit 2: More Pics....having fun (so far).

After taking a break from MLB The Show's RTTS, I've been addicted to this mode. I'm up to the All Star break and was picked to play in the Dunk Contest (don't have pre order code) and have won January's Rookie of the Month. I'm averaging 13.5 points & 9.5 rebounds. My Bucks are 2.5 games back of the Bulls for the #1 position in the East. Here are some of the endorsements I have achieved in the game.

You can edit players which i dont plan on doing to my base roster. I might edit the draft picks to more reflect their real life counterparts. I just downloaded that first draft class i saw on 2k which had names but the ratings are wacky.

The Pistons keep trying to trade me Andre Drummond for any package of my players plus my 1st next year. Get lost Joe Dumars.

LOVE the work they did on the animations. Game just "feels" right ; more so than ever you get good at the game by understanding real basketball. For whatever reason I'm having a much easier time with my passing this year - I play as the Timberwolves and I get like 12-15 assists every game with Rubio. Kevin love on the pick and roll is as sexy as ever specially with the enhanced screen controls. I love the dribble stick too ; i used to be really bad in isolation and I didn't understand the moves, but it comes very natural to swing the stick around. Brandon Roy is a goddamn beast with his shot creator - one juke move, create some seperation, boom pop that midrange. I tried very hard to play as the Suns but they just don't have enough quality signature abilities - the only good abilities is on Kendall Marshall for his dimer (and his jump shot is a wierd animation that not only takes getting used to but he's a terrible shooter as it is) and Gortat is exceptional against a center who gets alot of touches (dwight howard ; grind that motherfucker down and get him subbed out faster) but NO ABILITIES AT ALL on Beasly, Wes Johnson, and Shannon Brown only having the dunks (which would be great if he was a 4/5 but he gets punished driving to the lane) makes it very hard to generate points from the 2/3 and you will straight up lose at NBA2k13 if you don't have at least one guy with some shooting ability(s) that can get you 3s. in the TWolves I have Rubio, Ridnour, and JJ Barea, all guards who can drop a 3, and Budinger, who I'm sure you guys will become familiar with because he's straight money in the corner (corner specialist AND spot up shooter = 12-15 points a game easy). post play is better than ever but you cannot beat someone online without the 3 falling.

It's also 30 bucks on PC, and while it's not available on Steam yet (wtf is with that???) the code is night and day from last year. Last year I crashed all the goddamn time and if it wasn't for my genuine love for the sport I would have thrown my laptop through a goddamn window after the 10th "crashes inbetween quarters ; you know, THE THIRD AND FOURTH, on 10 minute quarters" ; I would literally save the game at the half if I gave a shit about the matchup and would sometimes need 3 or 4 attempts just to get through a game.

But I haven't crashed yet, not once, and had the game just under a week with 2-3 games a night plus basically giving it my wednesday ; I run my video options on highest (I do not have an amazing or even very good rig ; core 2 duo 2x 2.3 ghz with 4 gigs of ram, geforce GT 230M video) which I couldn't get away with last year, and I don't experience the same dramatic late game slowdowns I used to get when my machine had warmed up. It's a vast improvement over last years PC version and a steal at 30 bucks. If you got a wired xbox controller, you won't get that much bang for your buck with ANY other 30 dollar title, and I buy games on steam daily, im on top of that shit ;p

I agree. I usually play with the 94-95 Magic and constantly have a double double with Penny. When I play with the current team, it's the complete opposite. Nelson has never been known as a pass first PG and i can feel the difference between the 2.
