May I ask what games you guys are playing on these rigs ?

Im bored of console games. I just never had an interest in PC gaming since Xbox1 days.

Few questions.
When played on a monitor or better yet a large HDTV set how big is the Graphics gap between PC and console. It used to be massive but TV res has caught up , Im curious how much more detail PC games are putting into a 1080p res.

If anyone has screenshots of highend games Id like to see.

Ask maynard if he'll post some pics. His pic of Mass Effect is faptastic.

I plan on playing the Mass Effect Trilogy, Sim City 5 (although not graphically demanding) and anything new that seems tempting.

229 is a hell of a deal. tax will take it up to 250ish, but still a nice price and hell of a bang for your buck

They only have the motherboard CPU combo deal on the i5's which sucks but oh well.

The gap between PC and console is pretty large. A game like Battlefield 3 looks absolutely gorgeous (with a high FPS) on a decent gaming PC while it looks marginal on consoles.

I'd love to build a PC right now as well, but I want to build a mini-ITX PC and that stuff is too expensive at the moment.

Mass Effect on PC is no joke.....I will probably have to end up getting that.

Also, Maynard's screens of TOR look better than mine, thought that might be because of Korriban. I guess I'll have to mess around with some settings.

i took some more Mass Effect 1 shots. its game most people can compare to the 360 version they played 5 years ago. Below are Medal of Honor pics...so if you played the console version you can judge the difference.
