BTW Maynard i dry fitted the fan onto the motherboard and i still have room to close the case by a few inches although when i took it out of the package i had a panic attack.
Right now the only things left are a GPU and power supply. Still gotta wait for my new desk to get here too

that mobo cpu combo is tits. the mobo has alot of nice features
you should be fine with the cpu fan. just threw that out there as a heads up, but your case seemed wide enough.Comment

The guy at Microcenter said the fan that comes with the CPU is quality and it is up to me to install the aftermarket one. I think i will anyway just to make me feel better. I'm in the home stretch now and itching to get this thing built, i planned on getting it done by the end of the month but end of the week is looking more likely.

you want that aftermarket cpu fan. the stock fan is fine if you are making a run of the mill stock pc...but you wouldnt be buying that cpu if that was the case. if you want to save a few bucks the hyper 212 is about 10 bucks cheaper, but your fan has the nice blue LEDsComment
