Was that the depleted handgun? I need one really bad and noticed that after I finished off the 500 Hive enemies on the moon that I'd need to get to a +500 rating in the Crucible to complete the final step. Seems like a lot of work for a weapon that could probably have a better alternate available from Xur one weekend.

Not worth it. Scrap that bounty.

i wouldnt do any exotic bounties unless you have absolutely nothing else to level.....
lots more important grind else where

Thorn is absolutely worth it for crucible. I have 2 and working on a 3rd.

thats all its good for, along with many other exotics.

most of these weapons are booty
but
some have purpose on certain Raid bosses, nightfall and even Crucible
