The two main games that I care about Halo and COD are very bland this time around. H4 is still fun but it doesn't draw me in like H3 did as far as multiplayer. With Halo 3 and COD4 I never needed another game to play, because those 2 sucked up all my gaming time and I loved every minute of it. The current 2 feel like a chore and it's nothing but frustration when I play them, especially Blops 2. For Halo 4 I feel like the maps are very bland whereas in Halo 3 there was a lot more maps that I enjoyed playing, in 4 there's a few good ones and the rest are just complete shit. 343 played the safe card and basically just tweaked Reach a little bit, which is ok, but they are lacking on the maps.

6. Madden 13
7. NCAA Football 13
I'm fairly certain those are the only games I played that were released this year, could be one or two that I have forgotten

After playing Forza Horizon pretty extensively for the past week or so I can say that it is definitely inmy top 10 but I'm not sure where yet. The only glaring issue I have with it is the disgusting in your face marketing of the overpriced DLC everywhere you turn in the game. I guess I shouldn't be surprised since it's a M$ exclusive but it's more than a tad ridiculous. Every other loading screen is mentions the rally expansion, about a third of the cars you can buy in game are DLC only and there is even a place within the game world to access the marketplace content. Christ. With that bullshit aside he game looks amazing and the car sounds are awesome. I love the soundtrack too.
Between the standard Forza series and this offshoot, Gran Turismo is getting closer and closer to being an afterthought.
