A couple of electronics retailers in Europe have in-store PS4 ads claiming that November 13th is the release date. Would likely see a week or two earlier date here in NA.

Which, rumored, would be a full month before XB1's release. Would be a solid move by Sony.

Nov 29th or 30th....Europe release is likely 2 weeks after NA release. So if that pic were true, PS4 would release late october or the start of november.

I think an October 29th release date would coincide with the reports that component manufacturers have started shipping items to Sony, although I wouldn't be surprised to see Sony release the console in early November to try and meet the extra demand.

I personally don't buy into the bullshit that Sony would delay the release of their console so that Watch Dogs release coincides with the PS4's release, even though Watch Dogs was confirmed as a launch title.

I thought something came out last week saying they were both releasing like November 21st or something? I guess that was hogwash?

From everything I've heard, that source is not reliable at all and was likely just a guess.

Another thing that would sway me to keep my pre-order is that I have vacation the last two weeks of November for Thanksgiving and there are no tyrips planned. Just sitting around and gaming.

I really don't want to. But Sony basically forced my hand with the price. I can't foresee that thing dropping in price for years. That was one of the main things I wanted to wait on. But it will still be a "game time" decision because I can always cancel the pre-order.
