I'm shocked that FYE still exists.

The Best Buy I'm referring to is the one in Bel Air. If they aren't the #1 in game sales in the state they're near the very top. The White Marsh and Golden Ring stores have been the same though in terms of stock of both consoles.

Sorry, that wasn't meant to be an accusation against Primetime or anything. Just thought it was weird as I did not experience that. Its entirely possible Primetime had such luck. I can only say I did not experience such luck. They did have a buttload of XBones.

As for PS4s in this area, I did not find a PS4 until Saturday before Christmas at a Walmart all the way across town which got 54 of them that day or something. I was alerted by a friends wife who just happened to be there when they were restocking. My understanding is they were gone pretty quick after I got one, which I would have expected, as the parking lot was a damn zoo. I definitely did not experience the "they are available everywhere here" deal. Maybe they are now post X-Mas, but definitely not before in my experience. Maybe I just wasn't trying hard enough or need to visit Costco much more frequently.

No need to apologize. I didn't take it as an accusation because I've posted the pics for proof in the past. I think I posted one right after launch in this very thread of the 19 PS4s available. Keep going in there if you're still looking for anyone. I go about once every two weeks and they have tons.

That sounds like a total anomaly then. I see XBones everywhere. Piles of them. I ordered mine online yesterday from Best Buy with store pick up. When I went in they had a HUGE pile. They don't restock until Sunday so that should tell you something. I asked if they had any PS4s. Nope. Same situation at Walmart and Target. I even asked the guy that was checking me out how they've been selling and he said they can't keep the PS4s in stock and the XBones have slowed to a trickle sales wise since launch. He also said when they get shipments they get the same amount for each. Normally around 20. Granted, it's one store, but it's one of the biggest selling stores for games in MD.
Every week I get an email from Best Buy and every week they advertise How they have XBones in stock. They only advertised PS4 one time and that was when they were having that private shopping day for RZ members on a Sunday.
I just don't believe that the XBone is selling anywhere near the PS4. I hope they are because it's good for gaming. Could it be that they are just pumping them out that quickly? Sure. I just find it very unlikely.

If you believe VGChartz, which you shouldn't but you quote it fairly often, the XB1 has outsold the PS4 by a good margin in the US every week since both systems have launched.

That's news to me. But it looks like you're right. Apparently PS4 owns Europe though. And latest shows globals sales PS4 2.8mil to 2.1mil for XBone.
But Europe has always been a Sony territory. Once it launches in Japan it will be all over but the crying.

I can see how some will say PS4 are outselling X1 because they are OOS everywhere but I'm sure Sony would like to have more in stock. I wonder how many parents/kids go into a store willing to buy either system and leave with a X1 because it was the only one available.

I'm sure a lot of people. Kind of like the Killzone PS4 bundle that was talked about earlier in the thread. Good job by both companies in those scenarios.

That's a good point. Like I said, it's possible that MS is just churning those things out remarkably faster than Sony. I didn't think it was likely but that can definitely be the case. MS is also probably sending a large majority of their stock to the US where Sony is probably splitting their stock between US and Europe pretty evenly. Just a guess.

On another note, has anyone else noticed that their NFS Rivals files are not uploading to the cloud? It's the only game that doesn't seem to do it and I know Handle has the same issue.

I don't have any sales numbers and I don't believe VGChartz like most, but they all seem to be doing very well. I didn't think Ryse would get anywhere close to the popularity it is. But alas, this is the PS4 thread. We can continue this in the XB1 thread if you prefer.
