I thought it had it already as well but I'm usually in the dark with that stuff because I *gasp* use my console to play games.
Are you talking about streaming content from your PC to your Ps4? You can't do that?

yes, thats what i am talking about and no you cant. I have tons of shows, movies, music on my pc and i use the ps3 to stream it to my big screen. PS4 cant do that.

That's just dumb. I know you've said that's one of your favorite features of the PS3 and how it destroyed the 360 in that aspect. It makes no sense not to have on PS4. Am I missing something?

Just wasn't in at launch. They'll have the media server stuff up eventually.

i dont get it either. i just found out about the mp3 thing cause you wouldn't be able to use sounds of the show on ps4 without mp3 support. but luckily they are fixing that...just want them to fix the streaming too.

i could keep the ps3 just for that for the time being, but i would rather sell it if i get a ps4...although i still have a fat 40gb ps3 so i doubt i would get anything for it selling it

Those original "fat" PS3's are still worth money to guys that have PS2 libraries they want to play because those consoles still had backwards compatibility. I sold mine off about 3 years ago at Christmas on craigslist and got enough money to buy a new PS3 slim w/250GB hard drive and a controller.

The reason that Sony is always last to the table on media and audio formats is that their company is ran by people that are obsessed with not providing any support to any technology that could promote piracy. Remember that Sony is huge in the music and movie industries in addition to gaming and other technology. They always give us what we need over time but it is always a PITA, just like it was when the PS3 launched.

Yeah, but if they had it on PS3 it makes no sense not to have it right away on PS4.

I've said that many times. Both of the companies are full of stupidity. Although some of the XBOne features that were left out and are now being implemented again are mind bottling.
Nintendo is by far the worst. Not even close.

regarding pre downloads....this has been on steam for years and i learned the hard way that the download is not available until midnight pacific time. They have no way to roll it out by time zone and this is the only way to make sure the game isnt available until midnight across the us.

Ummm South Park Stick of Truth was unlocked at midnight Eastern time
