whats wrong with the putting cam?

It has no effect on putting itself. It's just the presentation after the putt. Some people don't like it. Like I wrote, it's absolutely no deal-breaker to me.

I played it over the weekend as well. Haven't played a tiger game probably in 4 years or so. I had fun with this game, and will probably be picking it up this week.

I've been seeing good reviews and game play videos on YouTube that makes me think I'll pick it up in the near future.

I really like the game this year. I bought the Masters version, but I there are just things i like better in this year compared to last. Seems a little harder or longer to build your golfer up. I also like that they got rid of some the bullshit stuff like seeing the guys that hit 500 yard drives online

Putting cam is kind of pissing me off, but other than that love the game.

My friend built a random community and somehow we have 30 people in it.

I love the game, Dave got me in the Pastapadre country club. The only thing I dont understand is I'll be in an online tournament vs other Country Clubs and after I submit my round, my name is on the leaderboard but I dont have a score next to my name. Anyone know why

So after skipping out on last year's version, picked it up this year. Played the first tournament in career mode last night, first impressions:

I ended up winning the tournament by one stroke, shot a -4. Two bogeys, six birdies, and ten pars. I really like the putting, I feel it's a major step up in difficulty. I had a lot of two-putts, some three-puts, a few one-putts. However, I've been searching for a golf game that is realistic, and this game falls short in other aspects. In my first tournament playing with these new controls, I never even came close to missing a FIR, and I only missed two GIR. Of course these were under the Pro difficulty, so I'll be stepping up and up until I find something to my liking.

Depends on the course and the weather too. Sometimes I'm thinking damn that was an easy round and course shooting way under par. Then I'm on a tourney with a tough course, combined with some live weather with some high winds and I struggle to keep the ball in the fairway.

I've played four or five full rounds so far, and I do really like the game so far. Driving is still too easy for me even though I've turned my swing plane all the way up to expert, but my approach shots are much more difficult, and putting is usually a two-shot affair. I feel the game plays more realistic than any other version I've played before, which is nice. I just started my first full tournament, and finished the first round -1, four strokes off the leader.

To make it tougher you can also turn the CPU AI up, so they shoot better scores, and force you to step up your game as well. The combo of the 20+ mph winds and a close quartered course is pretty difficult. You will know what I mean once you experience it.

A VSN County Club would be nice, but I think we would get slaughtered because we dont have enough guys playing to stay competitive with the other County Clubs. I bought the Master Edition and love the Legend part of the game unlocking players like Snead Hogan Palmer player, ect.

Best way to beat the wind, hit the top of the ball to keep it lower, plus youll get more roll. I really like the punch shots when the wind gets out of hand that also helps.

My only thing I dont care for in the game is County Club tournys vs other clubs. We are playing Champion tour and guys are shooting 22-24 under. I dont get it. Plus after I shoot a round and sign my card, my score is doesnt show up at the bottom. I have a - sign there.

Have you turned on shot shaping? Do that and driving will suddenly become a bitch.
