This game looks INSANE, graphically. This is the only thing that I've seen so far that has me really itching to buy one of the new consoles.

It helps that I love the series.

My brother got this game earlier today. Apparently someone was selling copies on eBay.

I haven't played it myself but it's definitely the best looking next-gen game I've seen thus far.

How much did he have to pay for it?

With all the early copies out, I'm guessing Sucker Punch might just lift the street date...

You're not playing the second one?

Good luck with some of those trophies. If you don't work on some of them during the campaign you're screwed. Certain things, like completing that move list, require you do do moves on certain enemies, and some enemies either don't appear any more or are very rare to find. Also, without a shard locator like they had in the second game, I nearly went mad trying to find the last handful I was missing. I gave up after wasting numerous hours and still never finding them.

Yea I wasnt looking for the platinum since I'd need to play through a 3rd time on hero, but I should be able to collect a good bit of them.

My copy left Dayton, OH about 20 minutes ago. I can't see why it won't be delivered by tomorrow. Shit better be!

I'm hitting up happy hour after work tomorrow and then plan on playing this until I can't keep my eyes open. Which probably means with my old ass, 10:30pm.

Edit: I just remembered. My wife is a huge fan of the series and doesn't want me to play this until she can watch (kinky, I know). She's working 2-10pm tomorrow. I guess there are worse ways to be whipped.

Proceeds from my personal Kickstarter funds will go towards paying the rest of this off tonight.

Then, if all goes well, I'll be streaming this as soon as I get home.

                        Should be fun.

                        Ruined my Outlast broadcast.

Our boy Handle tipped me off to this story. Now this is what I call customer service.

After rescuing occupants from a fiery bus wreck, he discovers that he suddenly has the ability to direct, manipulate and even transform into… smoke.

InFamous: Second Son's day one patch adds 19 new missions, 5 hours of additional gameplay

19 episodic bonus missions included in free InFamous Paper Trail content.

InFamous: Second Son's day one title update will introduce a series of new episodic story missions that amount to around 5 hours worth of additional gameplay, Sucker Punch has revealed.

The content forms part of a new 'Paper Trail' storyline, a side-story described by the developer as an "innovative online and in-game story arc" that sees players attempting to discover the full story behind the D.U.P.'s occupation of Seattle through a series of 19 new missions and corresponding "web-based investigations".

Players will be given access to new content each week for six weeks, delivered directly via the game and, Sucker Punch suggests, enjoyyourpower.com. The content is said to have been co-developed by Sucker Punch and ARG company 42 Entertainment, and provides additional gameplay and backstory on the world of Second Son.

On top of Paper Trail, the 300mb update also includes the Cole's Legacy Content Pack available for free to pre-order customers, as well as a variety of tweaks and improvements, including tweaks made to the difficulty, increased pedestrian and traffic density, and graphical improvements.

InFamous: Second Son lands exclusively on PlayStation 4 tomorrow, March 21. To find out what we thought of it, head through to our review.

Do I need to have played the previous games to understand the story for Second Son?

Good question. I'm guessing no considering this is the first game on the new gen and they want as many people to buy it as possible. I also thought I remember reading that there will be a comic at the beginning that fills you in. Maybe I'm imagining things again?

Other than getting info on the origin of Conduits, who Cole McGrath is, and getting to play two distinct/bitchin' titles...

                                I'll personally say "no."

I'm sure you'll get a quick write-up at the beginning of this game.
