This and Uncharted are the only games that I think I will miss the most, now that I'm on the XBone. Looking forward to watching Jay's streams though. No time this weekend to jump on and watch. Maybe tonight though.

Did you not do any of the side stuff? I just hit the Lantern District and I'm at 52%. I'm doing everything though.
Just did the first Paper Trail mission in the game and then went to my profile on the website to look over the evidence and whatnot. That was freaking awesome having to figure that stuff out on the computer. Absolutely fantastic. Can't wait to bust into more Paper Trail stuff tomorrow.
The game is fucking incredible. So far it has lived up to all of my expectations. I actually really like the new character. I like the dialogue. Some of it is actually funny. I've LOL'd on more than a few occassions. I love how they implemented the conntroller features. They seem immersive and not gimmicky. The graffiti stuff is really cool. The powerr are great. The graphics are beautiful. The draw distance is aamazing. I've only been to Seattle once and it was a few years ago, but the recreation of the city is pretty amazing. From the Pike Place Market to the Space Needle. Climibing that thing is amazing. Also, the Science Center is spot on. The wife and I went there to see the King Tut exhibit while we were in Seattle and both of us were floored at how accurate it is. Obviously you can't go inside but the exterior and courtyard with the ponds are uncanny.Comment

The dialouge between Delsin and Reggie is spot on how normal brothers act, which makes some of what they say even funnier.
the mission where Reggie acts as live bait cracked me up. My favorite mission in the game.Comment

Game was slightly super-cereal for a little bit and then seeing...
Reggie in that Wedgie-Armor, yelling at Delsin to "[not] be a dick!"
...was great.Comment

That stuff does seem awesome. I know we talked briefly about this on Voxer but what am I missing? I did the first mission and then I have my evidence. I know you said to actually click on the links for each piece of evidence but I don't think anything happened. I see that the last item is your phone and you have to punch in a code. Do you just have to take what ever clues you can glean from the pieces of evidence and come up with a code that way? I only briefly looked at that stuff.Comment

inFAMOUS: Second Son Judged by Prominent Developers: “The Bar Has Been Firmly Raised”
inFAMOUS: Second Son is out in the wild now and both critics and fans have given their opinion on the worth of Sucker Punch Productions’ latest labor of love, but what about fellow game developers from the rest of the gaming industry?
They’re probably in the best position to judge the game’s features and quality, and many of them are definitely enthusiastic about it, and they aren’t afraid to express it on their Twitter accounts, as you can see from the comments we could find below.
...
Drew Thaler, PS4 Architect, Currently at Naughty Dog:
inFamous: Second Son — dat lighting! Holy cow. The bar has been firmly raised.
Matt Pettineo, Ready at Dawn Graphics and Engine Programmer:
Spent all last night playing infamous. @adrianb3000, @jasminpatry, and @anji_nldid a seriously awesome job on it.
Alex Evans, Media Molecule Co-Founder:
Congrats @adrianb3000 et al on infamous second son release. Looks super lush! And wet : )
Steven Tovey, Sony Computer Entertainment Advanced Technology Group Principal Programmer:
Yeah, well done guys. : -) As I said to @jasminpatry it is one of the best looking titles #ps4 to date, in my view : -)
Flavius Alecu, Rockstar North System Programmer:
Congrats indeed! Good job guys, can’t wait to get home and give it a spin. And great GDC talks too!
Michael Jungbluth, ZeniMax Online Studios Senior Animator:
Continuing the inspiration of awesome game animation discussions all week by digging into Infamous Second Son. Let’s do this!
Hazel McKendrick, Hello Games Coder:
Aaaaargh I wasn’t really feeling left out of GDC until all the coders started tweeting “infamous particles”, now I need to know what’s up.
Andy Salisbury, Monolith Productions Writer:
For my first inFAMOUS game, Second Son is proving to be an insanely great experience. @SuckerPunchProd, you guys knocked it out of the park!
Nick Chester, Harmonix Publicist:
InFamous: Second Son is a really weird direction for the sequel to Marc Eckō’s Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure.
Trent Pollack, Team Chaos Creative Director:
Infamous: Second Son is pretty great.
Jas Austin, Origin 8 Designer:
Started #inFAMOUSSecondSon Bit early yo comment on gameplay… But F**K me it’s pretty : )
...
As a final and very interesting conversation, Sony Santa Monica Director of Technology Tim Moss made a very enthusiastic comment that sparked a rather heated conversation about PC vs Consoles coding with Sucker Punch lead Engine Programmer Adrian Bentley and Ubisoft Montreal Engine Architect Remi Quenin. You can see it below in its entirety:
One thing is for sure: as Moss says, it’s easy to let our imagination run thinking about what we’ll see in three to five years from now. if the outset is any indication, this generation definitely looks like it’s going to be a great one.

I just finished the story on good and I am still puzzled how this game didnt get a god damn 9 from everyone. Its so god damn good. Shits on the first two games. I dont even climb buildings anymore with how god damn good the powers are. I also love how balanced they are. One isnt more overpowering then the other. Each of their strengths and weaknesses.Comment

Just finished the Good Playthrough.
85% and I'll finish up the rest off-stream.

But seriously, I 100% agree. I love how balanced the powers are. It encourages you to constantly switch around to utilize the best power for the situation.
Although I'm guessing I still haven't seen the last (third) power? I'm only basing this off the fact that there is a trophy for using three powers against one enemy. I still only have smoke and neon.Comment

Already up to 53% on my Evil/Expert play through. I'll echo the comments on how amazing this game looks, especially the lighting. There was a moment that was so realistic that it took me out of the experience for a second. It was during the evening in the game and I landed on a rooftop and jogged to the edge of the roof and I saw my shadow cast down onto the buildings across the street in front of me. I can't even imagine games 2-4 years from now.Comment

I don't think the game keeps track of play time but I know I've put in about 14 hours and I'm at 52%.
Considering that I'm definitely doing a second Evil playthrough I'm looking at at least 50 hours. That seems pretty consistent with previous games.
It's killing me that I can't play this again until Saturday. This is one of those game where you start playing and even when you're not playing it you're thinking about the next time you get to play it.Comment
