Freedom Cry is pretty interesting so far. Adewale is a good character and they've changed up how some things are done to keep it fresh.

I enjoyed it very much. Very Far Cry 3-ish with the focus on exploring, crafting via hunting and what not. I spent hours upon hours doing nothing but random exploring, hunting and sailing. Pirating on the high seas is also pretty fun. A lot of the game is more focused on the pirate aspect than it is the Assassin aspect.

loving the ship battles, and sending my fleet out. i figured that i should only have brig' and man o war in my fleet.....

Just finished up the Freedom Cry DLC. Adelwale was fun to play with and he had a couple different toys to do killing with. Overall I enjoyed the DLC (especially since it was free with that $10 PSN voucher from Sony). A couple minor complaints I had is I wish the main villain would have been more prevalent throughout the DLC story. The other is I thought the DLC should focus on Adewale doing stuff for the Assassins. That isn't the case, as he finds himself down in the West Indies and takes on this outside of the Assassins. Still pretty decent, though. Interesting subject to tackle, too.

pretty fun game. im just running around havana atm...when do you get ships? should i just run the main story for now? i only did 2 memories so far...this last was the wheres my sugar memory.

i think you get a ship in havana.....i believe.
once you set sail, you can fight other ships and add them to your fleet. i have 8 ships now. brig (2), man o war (2) and (4) schooner.....loving this game. just got that blow pipe as well....

Once you finish the Prologue and the beginning Havana missions, you'll get your boat.

Just keep playing and save your pennies unless you want some of the better, non-crafted gear early in the game.

Then again, you could go the sociopath route and just murder/loot every guard you see for cash...

got the ship and started cruising to florida, but the dam wall cut me off. fun game in the boat. tbh, i hate having to hold RT to run in this game. holding it down is tedious and the control is clumsy. nothing like chasing someone and having edward run up a pole by mistake.

but the boats are refreshing and very much enjoyable. looking forward to really digging into this game

yeah that running up poles and stuff you dont want to run up gets annoying. but once you take down a fort, it opens up the whole area to explore. i tried taking down a legendary ship.......had my ass handed to me after i took down the 1st ship. loving this game.....need to get the dlc.....

got the missions where they make you go out and hunt for metal. for some big ships to tangle with only to have some pirate hunters come in and join the fun....i had to get the fuck out of there and find a small ship to beat up for a repair, then went back to the pirate hunter to get more metal....good times!

dont sweat the hunter ships, you run at first. once you upgrade the hull and add cannons, you will take them down easily. just keep moving in a circle. i am gonna try and take down a legendary ship tonite....
