    Mazda MX-5 VSN liveries:

    Swarley's...

    Garrett's...

I'll send you the .psd file on Monday. I think that's the file you'll need for the livery to work. I need to read up on how exactly to get them in the game, but I think you can do it through Trading Paint's software program.

EDIT: I'll mess around with the fire suit template Monday night and get us some VSN fire suits.

I always lose it going into Turn 5 (the second to last corner before the hill leading up to the corkscrew) or the corner after the corkscrew.

Lime Rock is incredibly difficult. I've only raced once there but I could never find the speed needed to keep up. If I tried to keep up, I'd put a tire off course and spin/crash. Also, when you are taking replays, you can hit the space bar to remove the HUD if you didn't know that.

On a side note, I just got a massive boner reading this thread as this will give me some actual motivation to run some road courses.

I did not know that. I wondered if there was a way. Thanks for the tip!

                  Swarley dear,

You have what it takes to be very good at this. I think you're going to love it. You're a little bit more meticulous and attentive when it comes to this sort of thing. I'm more casual, get in, get out. I lack the focus but I do have a desire.

By the way, if my house is ever hit by a tornado, I am pretty sure the only thing that will remain is that wheel stand.

Now the only thing I need is a new chair/seat (or pull the wheels off of the one I have). Having a rug helps but when I'm working the pedals hard, I start moving backward a little and have to adjust on straights. Mildly annoying.

EDIT: Nope, can't pull off the wheels. The center shaft protrudes out of the bottom.

So, if you guys know of a good chair that won't move, is good for racing, is inexpensive but also good for working on the computer... let me know.

The wheels are permanently on there? You cant replace with wheels that lock?

Yeah, I suppose I could replace them. Didn't think of locking wheels. Me stoopie.

btw, that is a very cool name! So cool in fact, it almost sounds made up.

Me practicing some Laguna Seca. I love this camera view, great for seeing not only the lines you're taking but also to see the track from a different perspective. Sometimes you don't realize how a turn really looks until you see it from above.

Just an FYI, these tracks come with a 'school' version which has cones marking where you should make your turns and what to aim for coming out of a corner. Not only is it handy but if gives you something realistic (which I have seen on real training videos) instead of a line drawn on the track.
