Why is SCEA being so quiet in regard to The Show this year?

IMO, the silence has everything to do with online saves and what-not. They have adopted the NBA2k14 thing for online saves and realize what a mistake they've made, so they've either A) Decided to make a last-minute change or B) Haven't made that change and are just hoping for the best.

red dot russel is former MMer that many of us know. he has been on vsn before and even played ladder games when beeeeer was running that thing. not sure why he stopped coming around, but im sure you can guess.

bottom line is the show online franchise has not worked since it was implemented. they have major game killing bugs in that system. not to mention the flaws with online play in general.

The graphics shouldn't be a question at this point. We have screenshots showing improved graphics. It's that we haven't heard ANYTHING since the cover vote, screenshots, and articles about save carry over and quick counts. The gap between PS3 and PS4 is much larger than the gap between PS2 and PS3, and SCEA has had the programmer version for a few years now. They shouldn't have a problem making another great game.

Exactly... gap is much smaller in terms of upscaling. Your graphical upgrades alone take up a shit ton of RAM

Honestly, I'm looking forward to RBI 14 more. I just hope they embrace the old-school game and let us play it online.

I don't see how issues with online saves would have anyting to do with them not being able to release screen shots, gameplay videos, etc.?

I'm excited about that too. I'm hoping it plays like a Powere Pros/Bobblehead Pros game. But considering it's supposed to release in a few months and all we have is a logo...

Been playing '13 to get back in the groove. I've made my RTTS a 2B/SS, 3B/1B, and RF/OF the last 3 years. I am starting to think that my '14 RTTS will be a pitcher (debating SP or CP) or a catcher. I know C is a pain because you have to call every pitch, so that has it going against it. Do y'all make the same person, same position, or change up every year....whether you play several seasons in RTTS mode or half a season?
