Why is SCEA being so quiet in regard to The Show this year?

Been playing '13 to get back in the groove. I've made my RTTS a 2B/SS, 3B/1B, and RF/OF the last 3 years. I am starting to think that my '14 RTTS will be a pitcher (debating SP or CP) or a catcher. I know C is a pain because you have to call every pitch, so that has it going against it. Do y'all make the same person, same position, or change up every year....whether you play several seasons in RTTS mode or half a season?

I love being a pitcher, but I can't handle doing it from a behind the pitcher view, I like it from catcher view, not sure if that was allowed this past year... I was 1B for a while too, that was fun for the most part, I prefer to not play all that much outfield cause i dont want errors fuckin up my shit

It's going to have to flood in insanely fast to get an early March release. I predict March 4th if that flood happens. Otherwise we could be looking at late March or early April.

Probably not. Based on the NBA Live situation we found out it takes at least 3-4 weeks to print and press the discs, which means they would need to be done with a master by now. We're not even seeing real screenshots yet. I'm starting to get worried. They posted a tweet two weeks ago about Spring Training and they still used an MLB 13 screen.

When the game came to the PS3, didn't The Show come out in May the first year? I'm pretty sure it was later than a March /April release.

I thought it was pretty common gaming knowledge well before the Live fiasco that games go "gold" about a month before release date. So yeah, early Match is not happening. If anyone is still holding out hope for that, stop now.
With basically no info released to this point I'd be betting on a May release like their first PS3 game like Garrett said.
