Why is SCEA being so quiet in regard to The Show this year?

Rumors saying April 1st will be the release date.

According to the sports gaming blog, the upcoming baseball sim from Sony is coming April 1. The information was reportedly verified by contacting an employee of Gamestop who had access to the game release list.

First of all, lets not act like Gamestop employees are any bit reliable.

The 4/1 date has apparently been in their computer system for a few weeks now. Some believe the ps3 version will be out late March with the Ps4 out either 4/1 or 4/15.

With the lack of info at this point, seems clear the Ps4 is at the earliest going to be out late March.

Considering that The Show '13 on PS3 looked pretty fucking fantastic, I don't see how comparing them is something that is surprising.
