The Golf Club (PS4/XB1)
The game is different. It's not the greatest graphically but at the same time it is pretty good. As far gameplay it's just straight up what you think a golf game would be. I think the coolest part about it is the course generator. The amount of course are endless.
I will dig into a little bit more today to check out the options.

Here is a good video. He is playing ghost guys but you can play alone too.
As far as graphical options, you choose when the game starts.
The game is all about feel. You don't get meters or anything, you just play.
You'll see trees popping in and stuff. Remember, he is on a laptop. I did have one instance of it bogging down my PC. Its the first game to ever do that but its also not optimized and it is an early access release.
I'll post a video of a hole or two in awhile.
I hope they make it so you can turn that ball trail off. That is really the only thing I don't like and I don't see a way to turn it off (yet)

When you swing, you just swing. There isn't a meter, it seems to be based on how hard you push the stick forward and how straight. Which I suppose is like TW but you have no feedback other than when after you swing. Didn't TW have a meter as you were swinging the club?
Remember, this game probably has 6 months before its done, so keep that in mind. The gem of this game is going to be the user courses. You can make a course in less than a minute. Mind you, it won't have buildings, ball washers, benches but you can add those in.
The course creator is actually pretty cool and I'm sure there will be people going to town with it in creating courses. There is everything you can imagine to place on your course.
I'm going to make a 2 minute video of the course creator. I'd make it longer but the file size is huge in Shadow Play, even on medium. (Relative to how fast I want to upload them )Last edited by Garrett67; 04-18-2014, 11:42 AM.

So this is kind of off topic but what is the new Tiger Woods game called since it is no longer "Tiger Woods"?
I honestly thought this was it but it's obviously not EA.

Here is one hole of play and that isn't me talking, that is the commentary. I don't know if that will be in all holes or what. I didn't hear it in the course I created but I didn't finish / publish it either.
I'll have a couple of minutes of the course creator here in a bit.
That course difficulty slider, I don't know if that changes options (like wind for example) or if that is just so people know how hard the course is. I'm thinking it has to change the wind options or something.

Ha, playing with the editor and you can change the time of day, you can change the orientation of the sun for that time of day.
So, if its something like 4pm and the sun is coming from the east, you can change it to any other direction, which obviously changes the shadows.
Creators are going to have a field day with the editor.
As for Co-op, there is an option to add players and that might be local.
I'm making a video of it. There is an option to add a friend and I don't know if that is a Steam friend or what.
I added 2 players of my own and played with 2 others I selected but its the asynchronous type multiplayer.
The videos are uploading now and I'll post them when they finish.
I'd say its worth $30. The editor is the money here so far and like I said, people have fun with it.
There are gameplay options that aren't available yet, like playing a tournament. That might have the multiplayer element to it, I just don't know. There might be info on their forums though, I haven't been there.
