Operation Sports Press Row Podcast just did an interview with him last week.

The game never was free. It was early release on PC. I've had it for months and just played it last night.

Based on comments from the developers yesterday, it looks like the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the Golf Club will be available the week of August 25th. Most likely the 26th considering most game launches on Tuesday.

This and Madden the same day? Wow. I already pre-ordered Madden 15 digital version on the PS4. Don't really care if I buy the physical product, save $11 in taxes, and won't lose the disc like I did with NBA2k14. Ugh.

I had a chance to play the PS4 version for about 30 minutes at E3. I thought it was a solid game and would love to check out a demo.

I just went back and read the original 'features' and saw there will be no career mode.
Whatever the slightest interest I had in the game just went bye-bye.

Yeah that hurts! With the new EA Golf set to release in the spring I can't say this game would get much play releasing the same time as Madden.

If EA product is like Tiger 14 I'm set... Either way i will still check this out.

I mean , if you want a game like EA's game, then you should buy that.

The Golf Club isn't meant to be TW. I personally think TGC plays better golf.

In TW, you get better because your golfer gets better. In TGC, you play better because you get better. It's a big difference.

Reminder that HB Studios has partnered with EA before on TW '10 for the PS2 and PSP. The Golf Club isn't going to be the first time they have built a golf game, which to me is a good thing as they already had a lot of in house experience to build the new game from with their own code.

I know I'm gonna get EA's first next-gen golf game too. Hell, I love TW14 ... but this is a chance to give some support to a competitor with different ideas and that amazing course creator.
Pro football gamers would kill for the same opportunity.

I am definitely taking the plunge with this game ... partly in hopes it creates real competition in the genre.

I wouldn't go as far as the last point. APF and Backbreaker didn't sell anything until price drops.

If the Golf Club is a good/above average product I will have it.
