OOTP is amazing. It's the only baseball gaming I really need.

The OOTP forums are pretty active as well. I am actually going to start a new career using stats only and turn off the ratings. Some guys over there play that way and say it is an absolute blast! Much more challenging and a more realistic rate of prospect/FA busts since you don't see the decline coming.

I play with talent only and on the 2-8 scale. Other ratings re set 2-8. No current ratings.

I tried to play without any ratings before, but it just takes too much time to evaluate prospects / trades ect without any way to filter some guys out.
