So after last night's ragefest...tonight was so damn good.

I played for about 2 hours and died only twice. I finally...FINALLY unlocked the shortcut in Central Yharnam so I don't have to allll the way the fuck around again. Feels so damn good to finally make some progress. The sense of accomplishment is REAL folks!

I'm not gonna lie though, I was shitting myself fighting those two...enemies on the bridge though. Luckily enough, I lured them one by one. Ended the night by going back to Hunter's Dream after opening the 'shortcut' gate and upgraded my axe along with buying all the clothes since they are waaaaay better than your default.

I can't wait to get home from work tomorrow and play the shit out of this all weekend (as much as the gf puts up with anyways). I might revert to my high school 'hobbit mode' ways. Such a great game.

Just beat Father Gascoigne, my second boss. That was a fun one. Luckily it only took my two tries unlike the Cleric Beast. Had a blast tonight exploring new areas. Can't wait to play this nonstop over the weekend.

Still only have one lantern, just opened the gate to the left so I don't have to spend 30+ mins going around every time.

 

I'm talking about the two Werewolves (or whatever they are called) on the bridge right after you beat the brick yielding ogre). The Werewolves are surprisingly easy enough to manage when they are one-on-one, but if you try to take on both at the same time....you're gonna have a bad tiiime.

had a tough time beating them but i also had tough time just getting to them. took me a total of 3 playing hours.......
and
i even created a new character so i could use the Axe and Pistol. my 1st character had the Threaded Cane and Bloodluster??

Don't play co-op or PVP in Forbidden Woods level (luckily this is a good bit into the game) this weekend!

A major bug fix is on the way for Bloodborne to address an issue that prevented some players from obtaining a significant item required to progress. Some very minor spoilers follow.

The item in question is the Lunarium Key, found in Byrgenwerth College. The criteria to trigger the bug involves ringing the Small Resonant Bell or the Sinister Resonant Bell in the Forbidden Woods area, items that initiate co-op and PvP play respectively.

According to a press release from Sony Computer Entertainment, this series of actions prevents the Lunarium Key from appearing, which is used to unlock a required area in the game.

The team is currently finalizing a 1.02 hofix and aims to release it next week, though an exact date has yet to be decided.

Sony advises players to not attempt co-op or PvP in the Forbidden Woods level until the hotfix goes through.

This particular hotfix won't improve Bloodborne's loading times and performance, both of which Sony addressed earlier in the week. Those are being treated as separate issues and will be refined in a future patch.

Hah, he's scary looking, but he's not too bad. He telegraphs a lot. Stock up on Molotovs though. They're very worth it, and super useful in that fight.

Spent all night exploring after last night's boss #2 battle. Battled a couple of sub-bosses tonight, including that quick bastard gunner on top of that one tower. I think I know where the third boss is, but I figured I'd hit a good stopping point so I just went back and leveled up. Can't wait to see what's in store for tomorrow.

Oh... and with how in love I am with this game, I think I'm going to pick up Dark Souls II when it drops for PS4. I was always a little too hesitant about jumping into the Souls games before. Not anymore lol.
