I'd like to just say this. I treat my 360 and games like garbage. I leave discs out collecting dust, they often drop on the floor. I sometimes bring the 360 with me to friends places in just a plastic bag. Its been dropped a few times, kicked and had controllers thrown at it.
Yet the thing is almost 2 years old now and still works.
I only know of one guy personally who has had a RROD. The difference between me and him. His 360 was on constantly and he and his kids played the crap out of it. Mine may get 10 hours a week play on it.
I don't know how some of you guys manage to kill yours. If mine ever dies I basically can factor in one of the many things I've done to it as a cause for it to die.
Outside of some fairly dumb design flaws I'm starting to just think wtf do you people do to your systems?
