I know ive read a ton of stuff online about Rock band whammy bars and drum pedals breaking. I have an original run rock band set of instruments and have never had a problem with any of it( i take great care of my stuff). Everyone one of my teenage family members ive saw who have rockband or GH always have broken whammy bars, foot pedals, etc.

I know to some extent its faulty programming on MS' part because of the mass failures, but surely some people just dont take good enough care of their consoles and they cause some of it... Right?
I'd like to just say this. I treat my 360 and games like garbage. I leave discs out collecting dust, they often drop on the floor. I sometimes bring the 360 with me to friends places in just a plastic bag. Its been dropped a few times, kicked and had controllers thrown at it.

Yet the thing is almost 2 years old now and still works.

I only know of one guy personally who has had a RROD. The difference between me and him. His 360 was on constantly and he and his kids played the crap out of it. Mine may get 10 hours a week play on it.

I don't know how some of you guys manage to kill yours. If mine ever dies I basically can factor in one of the many things I've done to it as a cause for it to die.

Outside of some fairly dumb design flaws I'm starting to just think wtf do you people do to your systems?

    Leafs offseason training!

Did it ever fuck up your games when you did that? My friend has his 360 on the floor once and I walked by it hit it with my foot soft as hell and it fucked my Madden disc up.

Well, let's see, I actually play games on mine. Now I know that sounds strange, playing games on a game console and all, but that's what I do. I'm crazy like that.

I probably play around 20-30 hours per week combined on all consoles.

I've always taken really good care of my things as well. My 360 was the only console I had that kept breaking. Hell, one them was even more fucked up when I got it back from repair than it was when I sent it off.

Aw fuck it! I don't care what goes on with the 360 anymore. I know its a piece of shit...I've experienced its piece of shitness and I won't be ever experiencing it again. So fuck that thing.

This is an older picture from when I actually had a 360. You can see that I gave the thing plenty of breathing room, I never left games in the tray, always turned it off when not in use, and all my games have a shelf in the hallway where they stay. I just had a shitty overall experience with 360s. I don't know what I could have done differently.

Oh...and by the way, I sure am glad I bought that HD-DVD add on. That was a wise investment.

Maybe the 360 hated that pile of shoes next to the door? lol I do.

When was the last time you've even heard of anyone using wall paper? Its paint. One of them multi-layer paint things. I like dark rooms and don't turn the lights on. Its depressing and easier to sleep off hangovers, lol.

Yea, the carpet was ridiculous in this house when I bought it. Dark ass red and it could have passed for the devil's house. I've since ripped the carpet up and now have hardwood floors.

Oh Jesus. So then why doesn't he have any problems with his other consoles?

THE 360 IS A FUCKING TURD!

It appears that the latest update may have caused my RROD. I was trying to research Mogriff's problem over at Xbox.com and found thread after thread about people getting the RROD after the update, with the same symptoms I had.

How can an update cause a hardware failure?

                          When the console is a 360 it's a fail.

I also love how MS apparently uses UPS's pony express to send my console back. They sent me an e-mail last THURSDAY saying they were shipping my console back. I checked it's delivery status yesterday and it's not expected to arrive until Friday. Rad.

Fuck these clowns. I'm calling them to see how they plan on reimbursing me for the lost Gamefly subscription. I have two 360 games that have just been sitting on my coffee table doing fuck all. It was no point in sending them back because A) It took forever to finally get them and B) By the time I sent them back and got replacements my console will almost be back. They can shove that one month Live card up their asses.

I'm very aware. Are you not aware that she plays as much as I do? No way I would ever even think of trying to interrupt one of her CoD4 matches.

As I've said numerous times, if I hadn't already invested thousands of dollars I would move on. Hell, if I could turn back time (If I could find a way, I would take back those words that would hurt you...) I never would've bought the Turdbox 360.
