MLB: The Show 14 (PS4) ... I actually finished an entire season

By next week, Madden 15 will be taking up my time ... then The Golf Club. I suspect my next full season with The Show won't happen until January at the earliest.

The only thing keeping me from completely praising quick counts is that you can't get any trophies with it activated. It is a bit annoying since it is a 'feature' of the game.

I'm playing with the Padres a bit......fantasy draft team in a sense. The ballpark looks nice in the game, and includes a plane flying in the background. They've done a lot of little things like that that have worked well.

My '11 RTTS played for SD...they had a plane landing, at least, ever other AB.

I don't really care about trophies, so it's not an issue.

I bought this game (PS4 version) in early October but never opened it. I kept playing the PS3 version of my RTTS because of the bad loading times I kept hearing about. I finally put the disc in and that initial DL took FOR-EV-ER!!. I started playing my PS3 version, just to pass time. I understand the frustration with the loading time...horrible. I hope they cut that waiting time significantly (like they said they have) for '15.

I played an Exhibition game of Mets (CPU) vs Marlins, using up to date rosters. The game looks pretty, except for when it has the bench cutscene. The Mets logo on the wall looked pretty crappy, when compared to the rest of the game. I had Dynamic settings for both hitting/pitching and won a close game (2-1). I'm probably going to play exhibition and (maybe) try starting a franchise on the PS4 but those loading times make it seem unbearable to play a RTTS.

The loading times were annoying, but I got over it. Frankly, loading times for all sports games and GTA5 are really bloody annoying. I can't wait until PS4 gets a software update that allows us to suspend play, turn the ps4 back on, and continue playing.
