As expected there is good and bad. Most of my "bad list" is stuff I wanted to see that isn't in this year. Haven't found any glaring issues as of yet. But I do already know what the number 1 complaint in CFM will be.

So you were pretty nonchalant about coordinators not making it in this year... Is it on the top of their list for next year or what?

You kind of have to be. No need getting bent out of shape because the item I wanted most didn't make it. I would say it's probably top 3, but it certainly wasn't gonna make it in the game in a 6-7 month cycle.

I gave my vote in the poll. 8.0.to 8.5. Game is a blast and I can't remember saying that in the past.I'm excited to see what the day one patch consists of. Whatever they do they, I hope they don't dumb down the defense for the CPU. This game is headed in the right direction and I just hope this team can stick around long enough to see it through.

I see a lot of folks complaining about defense being too good over at OS. "I have thrown 14 picks in 2 games..." Yes its called you can't read a defense my friend

I couldn't agree more with your comments. I am a average player at best and thrown a good amount of picks, and every pick felt authentic to me and I love it. It makes offense that more rewarding when you do hit that 30 yard pass play. That's what I don't get, people complain there's to many cheese plays in the game. Then when EA makes it a challenge and tighten things up, they get all mad that they can't hit the same slant over the middle for the 15th time.

That's a big problem with the game getting better. Too many people want a simulation and try to force passes and claim the game cheats.

I haven't played this year's game, so I won't pass judgement ... but to say that the D never cheats - I highly doubt it. I have seen many instances where I've thrown to a completely open WR in Madden and that crap is shut down by a linebacker with a 40-inch vertical.

I remember playing almost a decade ago, and I could have Randy Moss matched up on a fourth/fifth string CB and have 10 yards of separation and the DB would close it to make a play. That seems to pop in and out through the years as far as the severity of it goes.

                          Solid review buckeye

The game is getting high marks from most sites this cycle. Rex is getting closer to his goal of having a 90 rated game.

Seems like that's definitely gone now, if anything the passing game and beating defenders is too easy, on All Pro. But, everything feels right on All Madden. It would be nice if they brought back hardcore or whatever they called it, with all madden settings and forcing punts in certain situations.

So is there already going to be a day 1 update and roster update as well?
