    Madden 15 Connected Franchise update!

The Madden 15 Connected Franchise dev team just shared the following updates to CFM to pass along to the community-

    1. Extended the Scrimmage game prep activity to occur during the regular season and the playoffs. This is meant to give you an alternative to focus more time on any particular player.
    2. Balanced the cost of scouting Speed.
    3. Balanced the progression cost of Speed and Hit Power.
    4. Added Power/Finesse moves back to the progression list for OLB and MLB.
These have already been implemented and are applicable to all existing and new online CFM's. Offline CFM's cannot be updated and you will have to start a new one to take advantage of these updates.

Please let us know if you have any questions and we'll pass them along!

here is something id like to know, now just based off looking thru a fake league we set up to test things out, seems like you cant get very much xp for your players . Which , i get it , i too thought last madden it was too easy to make guys stars in two years time. That was bad, However this seems to be the opposite spectrum of that now. Seems like your lucky to get a guy 800 xp per week and at that only about 3 guys per week from practice. Thats if you dont mess with building his confidence at all. So it at least seems like, if i draft say an 75 overall lb , it may take me about 7 years to get him to an 85 if that high by then. That on top of the ridikulous goals that are set for player positions , just seems alittle bit taking it way to far , we need a good middle ground and i dont think this current set up is at all it. Id love to see a patch on this.

Season goals with practice XP takes 7 years for a 10 point ovr bump?

Nah... If you have a good coach, high consistency you can do it rather quick. I have Manziel to 81 (6 point boost) by week 7.

Obviously that will slow down as xp becomes more expensive the higher you get.

Bottom line is if you want a lot of xp... Hit your goals in game. Use the Game Prep to supplement the players you have a difficult time getting in-game goals with.

In my online chise I'm doing with some friends we're on Week 4 of the regular season and I have Johnny Football from 75 overall up to 84 already. So not sure what that guy's talking about.

Some little things I'd like to see added in for CFM is the ability to change DE's to DT's, CB's to safetys, OLB's to MLB's, etc.

I noticed you can sorta do it before you start the franchise but that doesn't help much.

ok so question. you got johnny up that much by week 4, but did you have to do practice with him every week in order to do that, thus not really getting time in with others ? Cause from what ive seen your lucky to get 3 guys some practice in for xp during a week.So sure if you focus on one guy , maybe you can do that, but what if you have 8 guys or 12 guys you would like to make into something? I just dont see how its possible to do that. Sure , the saying , meet their goals in games sounds good, but alot of these goals are still based on 15 minute quarters games, in which most do not play. Even then meeting goals in games dont seem to get a player that much xp. im just concerned , the entire team looks to suffer due to this , Sure you can focus on two guys and get them up , but then you cant get anyone else up. just seems skewed to me.

You get less xp this year but things also cost less.If you want guys to get better without practicing they have to play good, for example I simmed a season but did game prep each week focusing on getting Jags rookie OLB Smith xp.

Never doing ROLB Laroy Reynolds or Cb Gratz Reynolds went up 11 and became superstar dev and Gratz went up 6 and became superstar dev.So it def possible to get xp for guys without focusing on gameprep for them.

I like current system guys that preform on gameday gets to go up as well as a couple guys you focus on,whole team doesn't go up.

WWhile I'm sure some will be disappointed at how hard it will to devolop a whole draft clas, realistically most drafts only have a couple players turn out to be good starters on team early on

while i agree , it was too easy to dev someone in m25, i still dont see how you can improve your team that much. The goals in a game arent always easy to reach, especially with d as good as it is ( glad to see this) . I dont play my league games trying to meet goals, i am only trying for a W. to me having to meet goals in order to improve team seems like my guys wont improve except the 2- 3 guys per week i can gain alittle xp for ... just seems alittle too slow , but maybe im missing something else.

WRs having a goal of 130 receptions is ridiculous as well.

Those are their high end goals that are worth 20,000 xp

There are also lower season goals like 50-75-100 tackles that will get them 5k, 10k, 15k xp. Not to mention weekly goals that are worth up to about 2k xp
