VSN Countdown to NCAA 10 Release

Wow. I'm not gonna lie, after being with MM the 6 years of doing the NCAA Football countdown, it'ss gonna be different this year seeing as MM is just going downhill. Good times definitely. Let's start some more for many many years down the road on VSN, I'm definitely down!

I just posted something at MM 2 hours and 10 minutes ago. When you go to the top of MM where it shows the most recently updated threads, my thread is still No. 4. Only three threads have had posts since then is basically what that means. It used to be if you posted something, it was gone from the top five within two minutes, tops.

Very sad. Well, as sad as the demise of an Internet forum can be.

I just hope that EA actually quality-tests NCAA '10 before foisting it upon us.

This is how EA rolls ...

Claim to quality-test the game. Release the game. Within five minutes, average gamers uncover about a dozen bugs. Within 10 minutes, a dozen more bugs are uncovered.

EA promises to release a patch. A patch eventually comes. In the meantime, guys put dynasties and online dynasties on hold until that patch is released, this at a time when interest in playing the game is at its highest. Three to four weeks later, a patch is released, but precious time has been wasted. Madden comes out and some cats don't touch NCAA again. It's all good for EA, though, because they make their money on both games because WE'RE ALL A BUNCH OF MF'ING LEMMINGS!!!!

I'll probably get NCAA '10 just to join an online dynasty, though I'll probably suck ass at recruiting and be decent at the game. Can't wait for Madden '10 though, and hopes to an online franchise which it sounds like they'll add. :tongue:

Online franchise would be the shiznit. I'd probably join a Madden online 'chise and ditch my NCAA online 'nasty. I mean, I don't really like the guys in my online 'nasty anyway and they don't play Madden, so I could go someplace happy where I'd never have to deal with their asses again.

As for posting your own pics of players, can't see why you couldn't as long as their jersey number corresponds with the countdown day it represents...

Since no one is on board for the countdown sigs, I'll drum something up this week.

I'm not promising anything special, and I sure as fuck won't be doing individual player cut-outs, because I suck at cutting pictures out. I'll just do tradition sigs like I did last year.
