#11 QB Steve Spurrier - Florida Gators - [1963-1966]
Steve Spurrier was one of those who proved you can go home again to enjoy an outstanding collegiate career. Born in Miami Beach, Florida, Steve attended Science Hill High School in Johnson City, Tennessee, before moving back to Florida for his college education. As a 6-2, 203-pound quarterback, Spurrier played for Coach Ray Graves' University of Florida Gators from 1964 to 1966. He was All-America twice, unanimous in 1966. In his career he completed 392 passes for 4.848 yards and 36 touchdowns. He punted for an average of 40.3 yards, with a 63-yard punt against Miami in 1964. He was in the Sugar Bowl as a junior, completing 14 passes for 160 yards. He won the Heisman Trophy in 1966. Spurrier played in the National Football League and went into coaching. He coached Duke 1987-89 with a 20-13-1 record. He moved to Florida as head coach in 1990.

#10 QB Vito “Babe†Parelli - Kentucky - [1949-1951]
Vito "Babe" Parilli (born 1930) of the University of Kentucky was an All-American starting quarterback for the Wildcats under Coach Paul "Bear" Bryant. He was an example of the NFL's lack of player evaluation skills. Branded as an "NFL reject", Parilli was picked up by the American Football League's Oakland Raiders in 1960, and later, as a Boston Patriot, went on to become one of the AFL's most productive and colorful players. He played for the Patriots from 1961 through 1966, and was a three-time American Football League All-Star. In 1964, throwing to fellow Hall of Famer Gino Cappelletti, he amassed nearly 3,500 yards passing, with 31 touchdowns.
Parilli completed his career with the New York Jets, where after the 1968 season in Super Bowl III, he earned a World Championship ring as Joe Namath's backup in the destruction of the NFL Champion Colts. He is one of only twenty players who were in the American Football League for its entire ten-year existence. Parilli is a member of the American Football League Hall of Fame and the University of Kentucky Athletic Hall of Fame.
