I ask for this every year and every year it never gets addressed but I'll continue to beat a dead horse...ESPN type presentation and highlight show like 2K5 had. The crap they had two years ago (or was that this year) was pathetic to say the least.
There is no reason you can't implement something like that more than TEN YEARS after your competition did it.
Having a weekly wrap up show in CFM would be awesome.

I would say the reason it isn't in there is most likely because no one watches that stuff (or very few people do). With twitch/youtube you can easily watch other games.

I would personally like to see it but then again I would button mash it 90% of the time like everyone else.

        please address these in addition;

        * SIM'ming, SuperSimming and the results with stats - they are unrealistic in a full online CFM. the end results are extremely inflated. and even if you have 15 MQs per quarter in an online CFM, the results would still be ridiculous.

        * make playing the CPU literally IMPOSSIBLE to beat (see above)

        * and please, do something about players achieving goals. (Example: get rid of the Tier system and use something that is hard to achieve with just 1 set goal.) between SIMs/SuperSIMs and constant Overpowered GamePlay, numerous players become Madden Gods on the field, which is not realistic in comparison to NFL. make them much harder to reach while keeping in mind that it is also much easier to achieve in Madden vs. Real Life NFL. their are NFL players that can be very consistent but they dont exceed their expectations year after year. you dont Peyton Manning beating his own TD stats every season from prior season
3rd & 14, inside your own 15, up 6, 3:20min left to go = call a PA Pass and Cancel. *its Legit, so no needless complaining

Get rid of the Pro Set offense with the runningback and fullback lined up next to each other in the backfield. No NFL team uses that formation any more, so why it's still taking up space in the game is beyond me.

Wow Thomas, very disappointed to read this, no respect for the father and creator of the west coast offense Bill Walsh. That would be a shame.

This was all good feedback guys and I shared it with the dev team last week. There is still some time to pass along more suggestions so keep them coming.

I've forgotten more football than most know. I have no issue if they want to include a West Coast playbook, but I really hate playing people with custom playbooks that have this formation in it. If you are playing in a sim league, why are you playing with a defunct formation?

To be honest I feel the same way you do but in regards to defense. When I watch twitch it seems like a lot of people have just about every defensive alignment in their playbooks, why?... Because they can. Playbooks provide balance (for game purposes). By throwing everything and the kitchen sink ruins that balance (again for video game purposes). Not sure if the idea of default playbooks has been discussed in the past for any of the vsn league's but I would not be opposed to it.

I am one of those guys that use the Bill Walsh Red, Blue, and Brown formations but my playbook for the most part is geared after that. It's a KC base with BW influence, which in reality are both from the same family tree (A Reid West Coast/B Walsh West Coast). Windy and I had a talk a couple of days ago just about this same thing (breaking down some real X's and O's). Truth be told is that in at least one of my leagues I would be using the Walsh legend playbook exclusively if we had the option to save custom audibles within the legend playbooks.

Also, something so simple that the geniuses decided to change; the ability to formation sub while inside a formation. I shouldn't have to back out of a formation to package or manually sub someone in. Bring that back.

Also bring back the option to use the classic playcall screen. Stop making unnecessary changes just to say its a new game. Things like that serve no purpose.

Great point, the sub menu is stupid this year, not flexible within the game at all.

If we all knew how hard it was for the Devs we would appreciate their work more.

The game is far from perfect, but it is a step in the right direction. You could come along and say hey I work hard and I could say, you guys are bunch of suckers your job is easy. Remember until you have walked in a persons shoes, or understand how a corporation works let's remember these guys are ppl also.

Great constructed feedback is the key to not showing the Devs what they are doing wrong, but the shareholders what the community is about.

I don't think any of the comments I've read are out of line for the people who are spending $60 on the game each and every year.

I never thought they are out of line, just trying to give a little insight ;)

You implied it with a few of your comments from that post. I think the guys who pay $60 for the game, as well as participate in multiple leagues are entitled to let their criticism flow a little more freely than the guys who might buy the game every other year, or have staunch opposition to buying it period.

Most of the comments posted here are exactly what I think EA wants, and we have a hardcore Madden community that's been together for years with a variety of leagues. I want them to be feel they are free to post their criticism so long as they are respectful.

I know these guys work ridiculous hours, especially the months surrounding the game release. I get than they aren't going to please millions of players, so I don't think anyone is disrespecting any individuals.

Just out of experience... Where 2 may post great points a troll will find a way too... Well troll, so I just posted that to set or clear the air, and some were implied maybe just due to the tone of other comments.
