I played my first online game Saturday - random game - it wasn't bad or anything, but it wasn't like playing offline ... then it crashed in the 5th inning and it was over.
My opponent was up 6-1, I get a hit and the game crashes.
Does this game actually have online lobbies?
Frankly, I'd prefer to play PSN friends than random.

I've only played two games so far (the introduction game and Royals/Jays), and I couldn't figure out the baserunning. I hit probably four or five doubles, but the guy would just hang out at first. Good thing I wasn't streaming, or you would've seen a nice little hissy fit hahaha.

RTTS is like a time vacuum. I have days I'm afraid to play it because there are other things I need to get done that day.

I think I have 7 online games under my belt and all but one was buttery smooth

I haven't played the game yet but I remember back in the MM days people complaining about how convoluted the running controls were. How can a game like RBI have such simple running controls and a game like this be so difficult?

They really aren't very difficult, but I guess when you pick up and play it's not very self explanatory, even though they added the joystick to the baserunning graphic. They made it so you flick the joystick towards the runner you want and hit the corresponding base, you could tell 3 runners to go to 3 separate bases fairly easily and quickly. They also have L1 for advance all runners and R1 to send all runners back.

Ex. You hit a ball to the hole in deep left center, flick the left stick to the right where your runner would be approaching first base, and hit square. He will round 1st and 2nd and run to 3rd.
