Well I always enjoy beating the shit out of someone and I watch wrestling once in awhile. Just be something to play on the side if I get bored on MW2.

There is so much shit to do in this game its insane. Ive played for about 5 hours and havent even scratched the surface of this game yet.Comment

The game does look longer. I've played 8 hours, and I still have a good portion of the game left from the looks of achievements.
There is a lot of doing same shit over and over though.
Lucky though, none of them are needed to kill the main boss for each area. Just honestly, running around getting collectables.Comment

I just got the game....been abusing the Target coupon/GS promotions. So far I've spent $44 on clearance games @ Target and traded them in for SMB, UC2, and AC2 at GS. Including what I had to pay for the games @ GS, I've spent $94 out of pocket for all 3 games.
I have so much to play over the holidays.:joystick:Last edited by ryne candy; 11-18-2009, 04:20 PM.Comment

Just finished hour 3 or 4 now and I need to take a break. I just killed some main dude and I think I'm at the point where I am going to be on my own and able to explore.
Altair was a much better bad ass by the way.

Allright just gave it another 4 hours so I'm a good 7 to 8 hours in now. I'm going to try not to reveal much although I'm not to far into it and I'm sure there is a ton of story I have to cover.
So far I can see what people are saying with the amount of stuff you have to do. I'm thinking about it now and its quite overwhelming. Which is nice.
They really kept a lot the same but made it different if that makes sense. "blending in" is a nice little touch and adds a bit of realism to the whole sneaking around part. Weapon degredation always pisses me off in video games but it does make you goto the blacksmith and look around.
A lot of the side quests which were retarded in the first game (the stupid ass flags like who really cares) are now turned into things you need to acquire to reveal more about the story. There also doesn't appear to be as mant hidden. There are the feathers but there is a 100 of them and I have a feeling there is another little portion of the story added if you do get them all.
Even though like I said I miss Altair they do pay homage to him quite a bit. They don't know about him just that he was a great assasin. I'm sure there will be more to reveal as time goes on.
They added a lot of new killing animations. I did this double kill with the stealth blade that was just so bad ass. My roommate was watching me play for a bit and thought it was the coolest thing ever. Fighting with the stealth blades are so quick and nasty. It sucks against higher armour guys but that is to be expected.
The main story outside of the fantasy world hasn't been reveal to me at all. Which I am finding really wierd. I've been playing for 7 or 8 hours now, assasinated 5 guys and I'm not coming out of this annilus thinger.
Oh well I got the game for another 6 days so tons of time to go.
So far as well. If you can wait for it to get cheaper you might as well buying next year sometime if they drop the price down to like 40 bucks. If your like me though and enjoyed the first game go rent it.Last edited by leaffan; 11-20-2009, 12:35 AM.

There's a few links to Altair in this game. He's mentioned a few times. I will say, collect the glyphs, and get the assassin seals.
The glyphs give you a BIG revelation into the story of the assassins. Kind of figured what it was when I got half way through, then when I got the final glyph and saw the full video, it was pretty freaking awesome.
The game got rid of the repetition though. All the missions are mixed up. Each mission is essential to moving on in the story. I'm probably a good 15-20 hours into the game, and just about at the end. Only thing I didn't collect is the feathers, but I think I'm gonna do that now before I move on to the end.
Also, the glyphs reveal A LOT of historical figures being involved, and I love how they mix them into the story and also a few historical events as well.
a little spoiler about the glyphs, just have a question, so if you haven't done at least 3/4 of them, you probably shouldn't read.
Ok, so Edison, Ford, and Hitler were all members of the Templars, but later in the game, it gives you some other names through the world. I saw Stalin, Rasputin, and John Wilkes Booth. I'm guessing they were Assassins? Anybody know if that was the case, I missed what the story was behind that revelation.Last edited by Prodigal Son; 11-20-2009, 11:20 AM.Comment
