There's a few links to Altair in this game. He's mentioned a few times. I will say, collect the glyphs, and get the assassin seals.

The glyphs give you a BIG revelation into the story of the assassins. Kind of figured what it was when I got half way through, then when I got the final glyph and saw the full video, it was pretty freaking awesome.

The game got rid of the repetition though. All the missions are mixed up. Each mission is essential to moving on in the story. I'm probably a good 15-20 hours into the game, and just about at the end. Only thing I didn't collect is the feathers, but I think I'm gonna do that now before I move on to the end.

Also, the glyphs reveal A LOT of historical figures being involved, and I love how they mix them into the story and also a few historical events as well.

a little spoiler about the glyphs, just have a question, so if you haven't done at least 3/4 of them, you probably shouldn't read.

 

Ok, so Edison, Ford, and Hitler were all members of the Templars, but later in the game, it gives you some other names through the world. I saw Stalin, Rasputin, and John Wilkes Booth. I'm guessing they were Assassins? Anybody know if that was the case, I missed what the story was behind that revelation.

Wait, what are the glyphs? Are those the things you find in the Assassin's tombs?

Do you have to unlock the whores, thiefs, etc. before you can use them? I'm at the beginning and wanted to pay the whores to distract some guards but I couldnt do anything.

5.2GB FYI. Nevermind about the glyphs. Found out they're the things you have to scan then solve the puzzle. I've only found 3 so far.

No they should be there automatically. They have the little green icons above their heads.

It becomes available to you a little later. You have to go thru some training first.

Well if it wasn't for a poker night tonight I would of gotten a hell of a lot further.

I'm probably near 12 hours played so far.

Got around half the glyphs and working on getting my city built up for the free money and purchasing upgrades soon. The story is moving along quite nicely. I figure I'm halfway through at this point.

Ive only done a couple of the glyphs. I think im going to go back after I finish the story. O and i reccomend getting altairs armor its the best in the game and ezio looks like a complete bad ass when he gets it.
