That being said, I've begun developing the menu lag myself over the last month or two. It's seriously irritating the shit out of me if I decide to check my friends list during a pause in the action and it doesn't disappear before the action resumes.

Excatly my point. But when I mentioned it I was just "bitching about something minor." Minor my ass. Of course I shouldn't care less because the responses were from known Xbots around here.

I pay $50 a year for a service that is in no way "drastically better than PSN", yet it is riddled with lag in the menus, filled with bullshit ads and now unbelievably retarded avatra items. Yay! But what choice do I have if I want to pay online.

I can't wait until companies like Bungie and IW start sharging extra for their individual online services. That's going to be FUCKING SWEET!
