you can just wiki the variations.
i did 2 toons because i genuinely enjoyed the combat. finished as a warrior templar/berserker dual wielder good guy first time around, but enjoyed the backstab/rogue play so much i finished it as an evil guy too. if i hadnt enjoyed the combat so much on the rogue i would have just googled the differences.
and dont worry, mass effect 2 is gonna play the same way, you'll be be done with that just as fast
bioware rpgs = formula nowComment

Are there any websites that can help with all the side quests? I looked at the Dragon Age Wiki but it doesn't help too much with that. I can go to the Landsmeet but I want to do some other stuff first. Also, is there any way to check the approval rating? Some quests I'm seeing say the character needs to be at least +25 to initiate itLast edited by wingsfan77; 02-09-2010, 06:43 PM.Comment

how do you beat that dragon? I know that I don't have to but I really really want too....(*)I am a 25 year old pathological liar. I didn't have any friends growing up, so I feel that I have to impress people I may never meet online with fabricated stories. Any threads/messages I write are strictly false, and have no relevance to any daily experiences in my life. Basically, I am just a law respecting, citizen with no friends(*)Comment

Rank up on either frost spells or put points towards Force Field/Crushing Prison.
Bring in a Tank or two to draw the Dragon's attention while your Archer hangs back and shoots the crap out of the dragon; also, keep your Mage back so they aren't chewed upon.
Also, if one of your characters gets snatched up by the Dragon, have your other Tank (one who can use a sword and shield like Alistair) hit the dragon with their shield to make it let them go.
Other than that, prepare to move around a lot.Comment

Also, listen to specific conversations between your character and whichever party member you're talking to at the time.
Alistair will talk about a necklace Arl Eamon (the guy in Redcliffe) gave him when he was a kid.
Sten will talk about his sword.
Zevran will talk about Antivan Leather Gloves and Boots.
Morrigan will talk about a set of books and a gold mirror.
Wynne will talk about an old student of hers.
Oghren will talk about his wife and then an old GF of his.
Leilana will talk about some specific flowers and then an old GF of hers.
Act upon those conversations when you recieve a quest from them to do and they'll be cool with you forever.Comment

HOWEVER... for $7, you get a piece of Grey Warden lore and a sweet set of Warden Commander Armor which is damn useful against dragons due to it's Fire Resistance.Comment

I keep getting assfucked in the second part of the Archdemon fight where he flies off and you have to hit him with long-ranged attacks because Allistair is a pussy and dies all the time and Morrigan/Wynne die real easily. I get completely overwhelmed and I can't get my party onto one of the ballister tiers to try and bottleneck the bastards. Tried 3 times and couldn't beat it.....taking a break for a whileComment

when you get to the world map go to your camp and she should be there, or go to the wheel and find the thing that says manage your party and I think you can add her that way..(*)I am a 25 year old pathological liar. If you're running the game on a console versus using a PC, you can bring up the menu that is usually reserved for picking and choosing abilities/spells by hand to use.
From that, you should see a list of groups that you can summon to fight the Archdemon with you.
Also, at your Camp, if you put in towards the individual factions of your army (jewels for the Dwarves, trap and poison components for the elves, runestones for the wizards, etc.), they get stronger for when you start the final fight.Comment
