I think I know who Stephens girl but I'll keep it to myself.
Nice update.
We already know who his girl is (was) go back a few pages to when E visits SC. I still vote for the Shakespearean-everyone-randomly-gets-offed-including-random-characters-introduced-for-the-sole-purpose-of-getting-offed-ending, lol
^Haha. I'm down. Nothing like a terrible Shakespeare play to fuck up the flow...
Anyway, good job so far. Keep the wins coming.
I think Brad's gonna be like one of the many great QBs to come out of your Stanfords and stuff like that. Like how people were looking hella hard at Locker and Clausen - they played on average teams, but they were great. Brad's a sophomore. Two more years and he'll have a decent team backing him. If you can get murdered like that and throw no picks, you're a hell of a player.
South Carolina Gamecocks (1-2) at Syracuse Orange (2-1)
Stephen and I shook hands one last time as the referee signaled that Stephen's squad wanted the ball first. I then watched him keep true to his word, shredding our secondary on their first drive all the way for a touchdown. I knew I had to make a play right away as our offense took the field.
...
"Nassib drops back...finds Woy who has a step on the corner...and it's a foot race! The 40, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10...touchdown Syracuse! Nassib and Woy hook up on their first offensive play for a 75 yard touchdown!"
...
I nodded my head towards Stephen signaling that "it was on." From there, we both put on a show for the packed Carrier Dome crowd. I started catching every pass in my general area, while Stephen continued to find every hole in our secondary.
Down nine with 1:47 left, Ryan threw it to me on a slant and I dived over the goal line just as I got smashed by a safety and a linebacker. The extra point made it a two-point game, but we failed to recover the onsides kick. Stephen fooled our defense with a play-action fake and found a wide open Alshon Jeffery to put the game away.
After meeting up with Stephen to congratulate him on the win and his performance, we quickly made plans before heading to our respective locker rooms. Right then I saw a familiar blonde wearing a home Gamecocks #5 jersey and I knew right then that this would be the opposite of the Black Eyed Peas song; I've got a feeling that tonight's not going to be a good night.
