The Biggest Disappointment
Syracuse Orange (2-1) at #19 Virginia Tech Hokies (2-0)
You know what's more disappointing than dropping a game-winning touchdown? When your ability to control the game's outcome has been taken away from you. You sit on that sideline, kicking yourself for what you did and wishing you could go back and change things.
"I wish that I'd never gone to that club," I said to myself as Ryan threw a pick-six on just the second drive of the game. We once again gotten off to a horrible start and fell in an early 7-0 hole.
Things just continued to get worse and worse, as Virginia Tech used a power running game led by Ryan Williams to rattle off another touchdown. Their kicker booted through three field goals as well and we went into the half down 23-0.

"And that's a spark they needed as Woy comes in for his first play and makes a nice catch to net 25 yards."
However, as Virginia Tech realized that I was in the game again, they started shifting their coverage to my area and even doubled me part of the time. We couldn't get any more offense going, as Ryan threw three more interceptions. Good thing our defense stepped up in the second half, otherwise the final would have been similar to the USC game.
