The Suns at the top of the West. I wish this were real because that will never happen.

Granger Recognized For 2 Awards At The End Of February

For the first time this season, someone other than Lebron James has won the Eastern Conference award for player of the month. And that particular someone is none other than Danny Granger.

In 13 games this month, Granger has led the Pacers to a 9-4 record shooting them up to the 6th spot in the Eastern Conference standings after starting the month in the 9th spot.

This is the 1st time that Granger has won this award in his career.

Early in the month, Granger set a new career high in points with 49 against the Sixers.

However, earlier in the week, the Pacers and Bulls engaged in a 5 overtime battle where Granger shattered his previous high of 49, with an incredible 62 point performance on the Bulls.

That 62 point performance also helped Granger earn the Eastern Conference player of the week award for games played from February 22-28.

Over the past week, Granger has averaged just under 37 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists a game; leading the Pacers to a 4-0 record over the course of the week including a huge win in Boston lastnight over the reigning champion Celtics.

Granger now finds himself hot on the heels of Lebron for the scoring title this season at 29.1 PPG. (Lebron is averaging 29.2 PPG.)

                    Injuries:

Los Angeles Clippers forward Mike Dunleavy has suffered a severe ankle sprain and will miss 22 days. The Clippers have capable players ready to fill his void though in Eric Gordon, Al Thornton, and Bonzi Wells. However, Mike is the 2nd Clipper starter to go down in the past week. Point guard Baron Davis is also missing time to a shoulder injury.

Moving on up :D Only because the standings are that close. I have to be careful though. A string of losses could move me down just as quickly. Hopefully I can keep myself in the thick of it.

                      Thanks for following guys.

The Kings are very underrated. Honest to God, they have some of the best shooters in the game and their bigs can shoot too. Nice win though!

EDIT: Wow... their starting line-up looks so fucking crazy.

You know, as I was playing and they kept knocking down 3 after 3 on me, I thought to myself, "so this is what Deviant was talking about?"

Yeah, decent starting lineup, and they have Peja coming off the bench.
