Yeah, just read something about the Pistons. Fixed that though. lol.

That win is actually really big for me as the Raptors are, or at least were, right there on my ass for that 8th spot in the East.

            Trades:

            <=====>
After trading Peja Stojakovic to the Kings earlier this season in exchange for Brad Miller, the Hornets have once again come to terms with the Kings. This time sending newest Hornet James Posey to the Kings in exchange for Beno Udrih and a 2009 1st round pick. Julian Wright will assume the starting 3 spot for the Hornets now while they have improved their bench, which was their biggest flaw in last year's playoff run. The Kings bring in playoff experience and hustle in Posey which should help them land a playoff spot, seeing as how they are only a half a game out of the 8th spot in the West.

Two More Tough Road Games For The Pacers To Endure Until Grangers Return

Danny Granger's status has been upgraded to day-to-day for the first time since his shoulder injury less than 2 weeks ago. The Pacers training staff says that Granger should be back up to speed by Wednesday and he should be back in the rotation for Thursday's game against the Rockets at the Conseco.

"Injuries come and go. It's part of the game. They haven't exactly slowed me down, only kept me off the court," explained Granger who is currently posting averages of 28 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and close to 2 blocks and steals a game. All of that despite a string of injuries that has kept Granger off the floor and which may cost him his first All-Star selection this year.

"Obviously, being named a starter is out of the question. I haven't been healthy long enough. At this point the most I can hope for is a reserve selection which comes down to whether or not the coaches around the league have seen what I have done out there this year when I am out on the floor."

"Being named an All-Star isn't important for me at this point. I need to get healthy, stay healthy and help get this team to the playoffs."

The Pacers currently sit at 19-21 and have to endure two more road games in New Orleans and San Antonio without Granger.

The Pacers are 5-14 without Granger so far this year. Do the math. The Pacers are 14-7 with him. There is no doubt that the Pacers are now a playoff caliber team with a healthy Granger out there.

Pacers Survive Scare In New Orleans Against New Look Hornets

                Starting Lineups:
                T.J. Ford PG Chris Paul
                Marquis Daniels SG Morris Peterson

                Chris Wilcox PF David West
                Chris Kaman C Tyson Chandler

                (19-21) 104 vs 99 (20-17)

Sean Williams gets up to get down over Brad Miller. Williams and Miller are both big men who have found themselves playing for new teams this season.

                Top Performers:
                Player Of The Game:

                Chris Kaman

                Quote Of The Game:
"With them sending Peja and James (Posey) to Sacramento, their outside threat isn't what it used to be. We were able to sag off their shooters and clog the middle and keep Tyson and David from getting hot and Chris from picking apart our defense with his passing. Their offense sputtered along until the 4th quarter came along and luckily we got out far enough in front to hang on for the win." - Pacers GM Larry Bird

computer AI really bugs me, the Hornets would never trade either of those guys imo let alone both. But anyways nice win over them, your team can hang with everyone. Can't wait for your next update, 1 more game til GRANNGAHH

They should have an option next year to approve CPU trades so the very unrealistic ones don't occur. Good shit Mike.
