Winning it all may be a longshot but an eastern conference finals appearance is as good as a sure thing.

Pacers 1 Game Away From Eastern Conference Finals
The Indiana Pacers, one year removed from not even being a playoff team, are now one win away from advancing to the NBA's Eastern Conference Finals.
Marquis Daniels found his shooting touch and scored 24, his most in the playoffs this year as the Pacers manhandled the Sixers, 110-90 in game 4.
"We just match up well with them," Danny Granger said. "Other teams have a problem with their quickness and physicality, we battle with them."
Game 5 is Friday in Philadelphia, and with a victory there, the Pacers would advance to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 2004, where they lost to the Pistons.
Coincidentally, it is the Pistons who are most likely to advance to this year's conference finals as they lead the Cavs 3-1 at this point.
Unless the Cavs find a way to pull off a near miraculous comeback, we could see a Pacers/Pistons rivalry flame being rekindled.Last edited by mfbmike; 03-09-2009, 05:28 PM.Comment

Quote Of The Game:
"It isn't easy to come into a place like Philly and close out a team. Some of our younger guys got taken out of their comfort zone it looked like and we turned the ball over a bit more than we would've liked to tonight. We'll work on correcting what we did wrong and give it another shot in game 6." - Pacers Head Coach Jim O' Brien

lol, I just noticed all 3 of my Pacers players in that pic are rocking headbands.
and don't worry. That update was supposed to go up yesterday but I had a bunch of errands to do then ended up hanging out with some friends and got home too late to do it lastnight. Then had to work today, yadda yadda. You get the picture.
I kicked their asses on the glass that game but shot pretty poorly as a whole. Easily could've won that game but couldn't do so unfortunately.Comment

Quote Of The Game:
"You could tell they weren't going to go quietly in the 4th. They forced us into a lot of turnovers and put together a run in the 4th. Luckily, we were able to stop the bleeding and avoid having this series shift back to Philly. It was important we got this win tonight with home court advantage and we did just that." - Pacers Head Coach Jim O' Brien
