      Marion/O'Neal trade took place.

Marion becomes FA after last season in Toronto.

Miami signed Marion out of FA this past offseason.

Toronto stuck with Marcus Banks for the remainder of his contract.

Mike, I haven't been around here for a while, but are you actually a sports reporter for a living? May be a really dumb question, but just curious.

Tell me about it. When I saw Marion signed with them, I thought it was absolutely hilarious. They are currently #1 on the latest Power Rankings. Not a surprise. They have crazy depth but are a bit on the smaller side so I usually give them problems.

With them resigning Marion, I wonder if they will be able to resign Wade. lol, only time will tell I guess.

Rush To Slide Into Pacers Starting Lineup

With Ricky Davis continuing to underacheive, including a dismal 3 point, 1 for 6 shooting display in the Pacers loss against the Heat lastnight, Indiana Pacers Head Coach JIm O' Brien has decided it's time for Brandon Rush to move into the Pacers starting lineup.

Coincidentally, Rush was a spark off the Pacers bench against the Heat, scoring 17 points in 23 minutes on 6 for 11 shooting from the field and 3 for 6 shooting from beyond the arch.

Rush has had an up-and-down season so far, adjusting to slightly less playing time but has recently turned the corner and will now be starting.

If Rush can turn into Danny Granger's running partner on the wing, then the Pacers have those two positions set for many years to come.

Ricky Davis was not available for comment regarding his relocation to the bench.

Shocker: Ricky Davis Is Unhappy; Asks For Trade

Except for perhaps the most unreasonably optimistic of Pacers fans, anyone following the Ricky Davis situation in Indiana had to know that things would come to a boil, and that Ricky would eventually reveal how he truly felt about coming off the bench.

I doubt even the most pessimistic of fans would've expected it to happen this soon though.

The pivotal moment happened last night, after Davis clocked just 10 minutes in the Pacers lopsided win over the Knicks.

Davis, who was acquired from the Clippers in an early season trade a year ago, said he would not accept being a reserve.

"I'd rather be traded before I do this again," Davis said. "I can't be effective playing this way. I'm not used to it. It's tough for me."

Just one game into his new role, and the guy is already sounding like a manic depressive.

Davis has been quietly shopped around the league by Pacers GM Larry Bird for the past week or so and sources close to the team say the Pacers are very close to a trade agreement involving Ricky.

Kaman's 30 Not Enough To Push Pacers Past Celtics

                              Starting Lineups:
Jamal Crawford (81) PG (89) Rajon Rondo

Anthony Randolph (80) SF (94) Paul Pierce
Rasheed Wallace (85) PF (99) Kevin Garnett
                              Chris Kaman (89) C (78) Kendrick Perkins

                              (22-14) 107 vs 110 (21-13)

Brandon Rush shows love to the home crowd after a big 2nd quarter bucket.

Gerald Green drives baseline and throws one down hard.

                              Quote Of The Game:
"We got off to a good start in the 1st half and took an 11 point lead into halftime. They came out of the half aggressive. Ray and Paul knocked down a series of big shots that got them back into it. They also got big time production out of their reserves. With Ricky not suiting up tonight and everyone putting in extra work because of Danny's injury, fatigue looked to be setting in as the game progressed." - Pacers Head Coach Jim O' Brien

Did not expect to see Crawford, Kaman, Sheed, and Ricky D in Indiana when I showed up here. I'm surprised team chemistry hasn't hit -134 :D They must be partying it up like crazy in rural Indiana.
