Thanks guys. Glad I got some actual readers in here. I like doing things like that every now and again. Kinda prefer that over the monotomous recaps I used to do.Comment

Pacers Fight Valiantly But Fall Short For Second Time This Season To Celtics
Starting Lineups:
T.J. Ford PG Rajon Rondo
Marquis Daniels SG Ray Allen
Wally Szczerbiak SF Paul Pierce
Chris Wilcox PF Kevin Garnett
Chris Kaman C Kendrick Perkins
(7-10) 103 @ 115 (10-9)
Chris Kaman gets up to get down over Kevin Garnett. Kaman put in work tonight against the Celtics gobbling up 22 rebounds.
Top Performers:
Player Of The Game:
Paul Pierce
Quote Of The Game:
"We fell behind early but our guys managed to make it a game in the 2nd and hold on all the way until late in the 4th quarter. Unfortunately though, they were able to spark a late run to put us away. The level our guys are playing at right now is incredible. Caveman was all over the place tonight. Let's not forget we are hanging with some of the leagues best without Danny." - Marquis Daniels

tough loss to boston. You played good tho
Originally posted by Len BLupe is good peeps. He gets a bad rap from people who take message boards too seriously and forget what it's like to be young and online. I consider Lupe a top 100 prospect in the minors and someday becomes a solid poster.

looks like Pierce got whatever he wanted, as well as KG, almost never see him put up 28 points. With Granger back you'll be able to shut down Pierce and that could chip off6-8 points from what seems like a close match upComment

They went on like a 16-4 run to close me out. It sucked. Without Granger, I have no serious clutch player. lol.
Originally posted by VaSkinsFanTough loss. Looks like the big three really got you there. Although I am pleased to see Wilcox and Kaman banging the boards, 16 and 22 rebounds respectively very nice. Although you gotta work with Wilcox on those tips and inside shots lol. This under 50% FG is not gonna cut it! :D
The Chris Connection. :D
Wally isn't exactly the best or quickest defender in the league. Garnett was getting a bunch of turnaround jumpers to fall as well as a bunch of cheese ass lead passes from Rondo (18 assists) that led to easy dunks for him. We were neck and neck for a majority of the game which i'm happy about, they just went on a run in the last 3-4 minutes of the game to close me out.Comment

Lebron's Supporting Cast Steps Up To Blowout The Pacers
Starting Lineups:
T.J. Ford PG Mo Williams
Marquis Daniels SG Delonte West
Wally Szczerbiak SF Lebron James
Chris Wilcox PF Troy Murphy
Chris Kaman C Zydrunas Ilgauskas
(7-11) 109 @ 126 (11-7)
The Pacers walk off the floor after a demoralizing loss to the Cavs at the Q. Chris Wilcox finished 1 assist shy of his first career triple double.
Top Performers:
Player Of The Game:
Zydrunas Ilgauskas
Quote Of The Game:
"We managed to contain Lebron surprisingly well tonight. But you look at the other guys on that team. He has 4 other guys on that starting lineup who can easily drop 20 on you on any given night if your not careful. The Cavs are a good team and it looks like Lebron finally has the pieces around him that he's been lacking these past couple of years." - Chris Kaman

Ford Injures Ankle
T.J. Ford, the Pacers' top scorer in their loss to the Cavs lastnight, had to leave the game momentarily when he injured his left ankle on a drive to the basket.
Ford went straight to the locker room but returned a little more than two minutes later.
"I came down on it and twisted it," he said as he sat with it wrapped in ice afterward. "I rolled it on the inside. It's a twisted ankle, but you have to play through it, especially when it's in the fourth quarter."
Ford will be able to play through the ankle injury which will take anywhere between 1 and 2 weeks to heal.
"It's just a minor tweak. A little discomfort but nothing too serious," added Ford.
The Pacers prepare to host the Boston Celtics tomorrow night and try to get on the board against the reigning NBA champs as the Pacers have been defeated in both matchups with the Celtics so far this season.Comment
