Wally Goes Down With Shoulder Injury

Despite having issues with consistency during the regular season, Wally Szczerbiak had been in a rythym in the Pacers/Heat series. Wally had put up double figures in the 1st 3 games of the series, up until last game that is. After only playing 10 minutes of game 4, Wally dove for a loose ball and flew into the beam that supports the rim and backboard and was forced to leave the game. Later tests had revealed Wally had dislocated his shoulder and would be forced to miss 1-2 weeks of play.

"This sucks," explained the Pacers guard who couldn't find any other way to express his feelings towards the injury. "I was playing well, getting shots to fall, and this had to happen."

Wally is currently averaging 13.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 4 games so far this year in the playoffs.

Starting in his place will be seasoned playoff veteran Marquis Daniels who is one of the main reason's for Dwyane Wade's lack of production in the past 2 games. Daniels, played for Dallas in the 2006 NBA Finals against the Heat. and also also started in 20 games this past season for the Pacers.

Dermarr Johnson, the versatile guard/forward, will also see increased playing time in Wally's absence.

Put it this way. Marion caught like 3 alley oops in the first quarter alone. I've never had a player dunk on me as many times as he did in that past game.

Oh well, they got worked anyway. haha.

Neither did I. Rush hadn't exactly been putting up great numbers or connecting on his shots throughout the series. Came out knocking em down so I just kept jacking em up.

Celtics just got knocked out by the Sixers haha. That injury to Pierce doomed them from the start. :D
