NBA Franchise of the Year: Passion. Pride. Pacers.
They signed A.I. this past offseason. He's averaging 20/5 and 2 steals a game for them.
Foye is also having a breakout season if I remember correctly. They have Deshawn Stevenson as a 6th man. B.J. Mullens also coming off the bench. And obviously Mike Miller, Kevin Love and Al Jefferson round out the starting 5. Ryan Gomes and Telfair round out their bench. It's a solid team.
Fisher's Half Court Heave Forces Overtime Where Pacers Collapse
Starting Lineups: Andre Miller (80) PG (82) Derek Fisher Jamal Crawford (81) SG (99) Kobe Bryant Danny Granger (90) SF (88) Lamar Odom Rasheed Wallace (85) PF (94) Pau Gasol Chris Kaman (89) C (91) Andrew Bynum
(39-26) 133 vs 140 (39-23)
Danny Granger's celebration after hitting a 3 pointer with 3.4 seconds remaining in regulation proves to be a bit premature.
Video 1: Danny Granger double teamed, outlet pass to Jamal Crawford. Crawford misses, offensive rebound by Rasheed Wallace. Ball back out to Crawford, to Granger who knocks down 3 to put Pacers up 123-120 with 3.4 seconds remaining. Video 2: Derek Fisher runs to half court and chucks up a 3 pointer to send it into overtime.

Quote Of The Game:
"Get that [expletive] camera out my face." - Rasheed Wallace
Yeah, it was pretty brutal. I mean, the game was mine. And then, it was going into overtime. I was in shock. The shock + frustration got me owned in overtime. They just came back in the 4th.
That sheed vid makes me laugh all the fucking time.
Pacers Vocal With Frustration After Overtime Loss To Lakers
As Rasheed Wallace got dressed at his locker, the words came out fast and with feeling.
Moments earlier inside the locker room, Wallace and a few others let their anger be heard, loudly, after the Pacers 140-133 loss overtime loss to the Lakers at the Conseco Fieldhouse lastnight.
"Yeah, I'm fed up, because there's no reason," Wallace said. Everybody wants to talk, "Oh, the Pacers are loaded with talent. Talent's never won nobody nothing. Nothing. It's got to be a complete team effort."
"Talent's not getting it done. Want-to gets it done. Focus gets it done. Busting your ass on every single play, is going to get it. Not just getting out there on the floor thinking we can roll the ball out there and take it to these guys."
What made lastnight's loss even more disheartening for the Pacers was the half-court heave from Derek Fisher that sent the game into overtime. The Pacers frustration was visible in the overtime period where the Lakers outscored the Pacers 17-10 to drop the Pacers to 39-27.
"You're upset when you don't win because you put so much time and effort into it," Danny Granger said. "But the rest of this season isn't going to go straight down this narrow path and be a nice, cozy Sunday drive. If we want to head into the postseason with some momentum, we have to turn things around, fast."
Lastnight's loss was the Pacers 2nd overtime loss in 2 games and their 3rd loss in 4 games.
