You are absolutely correct. I completely forgot that Green Bay hired Dom Capers to run the 3-4 and even moved Kampmann to OLB and that McDaniels is also running the 3-4.

Yep. And if I am not mistaken, each of my next 3 opponents run 3-4's as well.

Game 3, Year 1: Pittsburgh Steelers (2-0) at Cincinnati Bengals (0-2)

        58 -- 3-0
        06 -- 0-3

Steelers DBs Troy Polamalu (LEFT) and William Gay (RIGHT) each returned turnovers for touchdowns to help their team storm out to a 38-0 halftime lead. Polamalu's 36-yard fumble return of a Brian Leonard fumble helped ignite the Steelers' blowout victory.

        "EMBARRASSING"

QB Carson Palmer leaves game in first quarter with brusied sternum as Bengals offense falters in 58-6 thumping by rival Steelers | Cincinnati turns ball over a whopping 8 times in Palmer's absence; Signal-caller to play next week against Cleveland | GM Geezy: "Changes may be in order"

Yeah I am pretty speechless myself.

My defense actually didn't play all that bad...My Carson Palmer-less offense basically gave the game away. We couldn't do squat without him in the game. EA wasn't kidding when they said we'll feel the difference between our starting QB and our backups.

It is always darkest just before the dawn my friend. It didn't look as bad on paper as it probably did on the scoreboard. First, you held the Steelers offense in check. They really didn't do anything special against you. Second, 8 turnovers...that's what killed you. Bernard Scott seems to be the only real offensive weapon right now. Any chance his role is expanded even more?

I will definitely be expanding Scott's role. He really seems to be a diamond in the rough. He plays a lot better than his rating.

We need an upgrade at back-up QB in the worst way. That will definitely be a priority in the off-season.

He's too busy running his own franchise these days (Falcons). It's just past 7 in the morning and he is in practice mode right now trying to get some reps in before school haha

Bengals.com reports that the team has re-signed WR Jerome Simpson to a one-year deal worth $850k. Simpson, a 2nd year player from Coastal Carolina, was released from the team on the final cut down date in the preseason. Despite being signed just the day before a game, the 6-2 199 pound wideout is expected to play in the team's week four contest at Cleveland as he is already familiar with the Bengals' playbook.
