Damn that was a tough loss to the Ravens......surprised your defense collasped like that at the end...maybe Chad's comments provided the Ravens with some motivation.....coach Geezy perhaps should reel him in a bit on twitter....show him what happened to Larry Johnson lol
Bengals need to get it together, season can go south in a hurryComment

The Chiefs were anything but weak. Despite their record, they really did have a good looking team.

I'd be lying if I was to say I wasn't worried.

Must win game against Cleveland, no doubt about it. We're tied with Pittsburgh with 2 divisional losses. Another loss would be devastating.
Not sure...Perhaps I am being too aggessive with the blitz.

32 -- 4-10
48 -- 9-5
Bengals RB C.J. Spiller crosses the goal line to cap off his career-long 78-yard touchdown run that made the score 38-29 late in the third quarter. Spiller finished the game with a career-high 200 yards on 27 carries to pace Cincinnati to a 48-32 win.
MAN OF THE HOUR
Spiller's 200-yard rushing performance ignites scoring explosion in 48-32 win versus Cleveland | After falling behind late in the second quarter, Cincinnati outscores Browns 31-6 in the second half without throwing a single pass | Big victory catapults Bengals to just their second winning season in the past 21 years | Steelers' 10-9 loss to Chargers gives Cincinnati 1 game lead with 2 games remaining
The Cincinnati Bengals, who fell behind 26-17 in the first half after two Carson Palmer turnovers, outscored the Cleveland Browns 31-6 in the second half en route to a thrilling 48-32 victory Sunday at home. Palmer's second quarter interception was returned 71 yards for a touchdown by Browns CB Eric Wright to give Cleveland a 23-17 lead late in the half. On the Bengals' ensuing possession, Palmer scrambled for a short gain but was hit hard and fumbled & Browns MLB David Veinkune recovered with under :20 remaining in the half. The play set up a field goal to make the score 26-17 going into halftime.
It was at that point that Bengals head coach Mike Martz made an unprecedented second half adjustment: He abandoned the passing game. For the remainder of the contest Martz gave Cleveland a heavy dose of the ground game and RB C.J. Spiller responded with a career-high 200-yard rushing performance on 27 carries. Spiller's 78-yard touchdown run near the end of the third quarter made the score 38-29, giving Cincinnati a 9-point cushion.
Cleveland would answer with a field goal by PK Phil Dawson to make the score 38-32 with 12:00 remaining in the game. They would need to hold Cincinnati to no points on their ensuing possession to have a chance to win the game. Cincinnati had other ideas however.
The Bengals took their ensuing possession on a 15-play 67-yard drive (all runs) that took up a whopping 9:26 of game clock and capped it off with a 24-yard field goal by PK Shayne Graham that made the score 41-32 with just 2:44 remaining in the game.
On the kickoff following the field goal, Browns KR Josh Cribbs fumbled & Bengals reserve FS Matt Giordano recovered and returned it 21 yards for a game-clinching touchdown that made the score 48-32.
The game was a major contrast from the two teams' week 5 match-up, which ended in a 10-6 win for Cincinnati in a defensive struggle.
"We knew this one would be a dog fight, no pun intended," said Martz.
Cincinnati's offense finished with a season-high 261 rushing yards and the team only threw the ball 17 times, which is easily the fewest for the team during Martz's tenure.
"I think a common misconception is that I am a pass-happy guy but in actuality, I am a go with what works guy," said Martz.
"We came to the conclusion at halftime that they were having issues defending the run, in particular along the right side behind rookie RT Anthony Davis. So we decided to give them a heavy dose of C.J., (FB) Jacob (Hester), and (RB) Bernard (Scott) and the whole team responded.
"We made the plays that we needed to make today in crunch time unlike the last couple of weeks. I couldn't be more proud of how well we executed in the final minutes."
Browns QB Brady Quinn had a rough performance, tossing 4 interceptions. His third quarter interception thrown to Bengals DT Domata Peko was returned 13 yards for a touchdown which gave Cincinnati a 31-26 lead. Bengals CB Leon Hall had two interceptions as well and OLB Manny Lawson's interception on Cleveland's final possession sealed the victory.
The win for Cincinnati gives them their first winning season since 2005 and just their second in the last 21 years. The team also moves ahead of Pittsburgh (8-6) in the AFC North standings, following the Steelers' 10-9 loss to the Chargers (10-4).
The Bengals will host St. Louis (10-4) next Sunday Night (Christmas Night) at Paul Brown Stadium. The Rams are currently on a two-game skid and have fallen behind in the race for homefield advantage in the NFC Playoffs.
Cincinnati can clinch the AFC North title with a win next week and a Steelers loss at Arizona (4-10).
Notes: Bengals RB C.J. Spiller now has 1,250 rushing yards and 7 touchdowns on 246 carries on the season. He also has 88 receptions for 998 yards and 9 touchdowns as he stakes his claim for the NFL MVP award...Bengals DE Ryon Bingham (70) left the game in the second half with a broken jaw injury and it is expected to sideline him for two weeks. Back-up DE Dwan Edwards (71) took over the remainder of the game and will start in his place. Edwards registered a sack during Sunday's game.

Like Rhude said that is crazy that you were able to shut them down and dominate in the second half like you did without throwing the football once! Spiller just went OFF. That 78 yard touchdown run must have been awesome!
You have a tough game coming up. Looks like the boat has been turned around in St. Louis, they could possibly give you some fits. You need this win, good luck man.Comment

He needs to have a good showing to close out the year to win that award. He is close to breaking a few records though. Such as RB receptions, RB receiving yards, and RB yards from scrimmage.

Game 15, Year 3: St. Louis Rams at Cincinnati Bengals
21 -- 10-5
24 -- 10-5
Bengals PK Shayne Graham kicks a game-winning 43-yard field goal as time expires to make the score 24-21 and send Cincinnati to the playoffs.
GRAHAM'S 43-YARD FIELD GOAL AS TIME EXPIRES LIFTS BENGALS TO 24-21 WIN OVER RAMS, AFC NORTH TITLE
Cincinnati blows 21-0 lead but march down the field in closing minute to win thrilling Christmas night contest | Cincy win plus Steelers loss to Cardinals gives Bengals first division title since 2005 | Heading into week 17, team still has outside shot at #2 seed, first round BYE
Santa Claus came on schedule for Cincinnati fans on Christmas Night as they saw their team defeat the St. Louis Rams 24-21 Sunday night in blistering cold Paul Brown Stadium, clinching the 2011 AFC North division title in the process. Bengals PK Shayne Graham kicked a 43-yard field goal with no time remaining to send Cincinnati to the playoffs for the first time since 2005. The team drove 52 yards on 6 plays in the game's final 1:14 to set up for the winning kick.
Cincinnati blew a 21-0 third quarter lead and were unable to hold off a furious comeback by St. Louis (10-5). Rams QB Marc Bulger caught fire in the fourth quarter, amassing over 200 passing yards in the game's final 15 minutes and throwing two touchdown passes. His 11-yard touchdown pass to WR Johnnie Lee Higgins with 1:14 to go made the score 21-19. Second year RB Evan Royster's plowed through three Bengals defenders on his way to the end zone to convert the ensuing two-point conversion attempt to tie the game at 21-21.
Bengals QB Carson Palmer, who threw an interception on the team's previous possession to set up the Rams for their game-tying score, would make amends on the Bengals' final drive. He went 5 of 5 on the game-winning possession, completing 3 passes to WR Chad Ochocinco and 2 to RB C.J. Spiller to set up for the game-winning field goal.
"That's the stuff champions are made out of and Carson told me before that drive that there is no way he was going allow this team to lose this game," said Bengals head coach Mike Martz, who was coaching against his former team.
"He made the mistake late in the game of throwing the interception but he came right back and did what he had to do to put us in position to close things out.
Cincinnati was able to jump out to a big lead behind a two touchdown performance by back-up RB Bernard Scott. Scott caught a 10-yard first quarter touchdown pass on the game's opening possession while subbing for a fatigued Spiller. His 32-yard third quarter touchdown scamper made the score 21-0 with 9:18 to go in the period.
CB Leon Hall also had stellar performance, grabbing two interceptions for the second consecutive week to give him a total of five on the season. Hall, who was moved back to his familiar left cornerback spot last week after playing right cornerback all season long, picked off Bulger and returned it for a 54-yard touchdown in the second quarter that made the score 14-0 with 1:48 to go before halftime.
"We flip-flopped Hall and Joe (Haden) last week and it paid dividends immediately," said Bengals defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel.
"Last year, this was the alignment that we played but we decided to do things differently this year. We went back to what worked last season and it is working out well for is."
On that Rams' ensuing possession following Hall's late second quarter score, Bulger went out of the game with a minor hand injury after driving his team deep into Bengals territory in the first half's final seconds. Back-up QB Luke McCown came in to run the remainder of the team's two minute offense but was picked off by Hall at the Bengals 5-yard line with 0:33 remaining on third down, halting a scoring opportunity just before the break.
"That was a critical sequence in the game and looking back, it was probably the biggest turn of events in the game altogether," said Martz.
"Between Hall's touchdown and his interception to stop their last drive of the half, you're probably looking at about at least a 14-point swing there if not more."
As stated before, Cincinnati (10-5) has clinched the AFC North title by virtue of Pittsburgh's 29-17 loss to Arizona earlier in the day and they will host at least one playoff game in January. The team can still obtain a first round BYE with a win next week along with some help.
The Bengals will travel to face Baltimore (7-8) next week on New Year's Day. The Ravens still have an outside chance to get into the playoffs but need a lot of help. QB Joe Flacco will be making his return after missing most of the season with a back injury, which has keeped him out since week 5. Cincinnati fell to Baltimore 49-38 in week 13 when Ravens back-up QB Tim Tebow thew for 268 yards and three touchdowns. The game saw the Ravens score 22 points within the contest's final 4:16.
