Talk about a turnaround from a season ago lol.. iirc, matt ryan was out for a number of weeks.

It's funny looking at these standings compared to a season ago. Atlanta went from top of the league to bottom of the barrel. Titans the complete opposite. They were horrible and now one of the best.

Look at the Eagles now, 2-12. rofl.

      Seahawks have also improved greatly.

Bills Clinch 2nd Consecutive Playoff Berth Despite Offensive Inconsistency

Nasty weather combined with a stingy Bengals defensive line kept the Bills from getting anything consistent going offensively, putting a damper on the Bills big day.

Despite the Bills falling just short in a 17-14 loss to the Bengals in Cincinatti, the Bills clinched a playoff spot for the second consecutive year.

The Bills forced the Bengals into 6 turnovers (4 interceptions, 2 fumbles) but offensive inconsistency reared it's ugly head once again this season.

Trent Edwards was feeling pressure all day, completing only 18 of 43 passes for just over 200 yards, with a touchdown and interception.

"Robert (Geathers) is a monster," explained Edwards. "He got 4 sacks the week before and managed to get to me 3 times."

Marshawn Lynch, second to only the Titans' Chris Johnson in the voting for AFC Pro Bowl HB this season, was also kept relatively quiet, only rushing for 58 yards on the game.

“We had a little trouble recognizing who was a linebacker and who was a lineman,” Edwards added. “We made a lot of mental errors offensively. It came back to haunt us.”

Owens, who caught 6 passes for 66 yards and a TD, offered a harsher assessment.

“As a whole,” he said, “we stunk it up.”

                    Week 17 Preview
Sunday, January 2, 1:00 PM @ Jacksonville Municipal Stadium

                    (9-6) @ (7-8)

The 6 spots for the 2010 AFC Playoffs have already been filled.

The Bills hold one of those spots.

                    The Jaguars, well, don't.

The Jaguars are playing out their schedule and because of that, could be dangerous considering they have nothing to lose at this point.

Expect the Bills to rest their starters in the 2nd half of this season finale. Let's just hope they can get through this one without any serious injuries.

Jaguars Key Additions: MLB Marvin Swillie R* (83), LOLB Brandon Newkirk R* (77)

                            NFC Playoff Hunt

Coming into week 17, 4 teams in the NFC shared an 8-7 record: the Green Bay Packers, San Francisco 49ers, New York Giants and Chicago Bears. Their playoff fates hung in the balance and were determined in the last week of the regular season.

Here's how the NFC Playoff Hunt came to a thrilling end for these 4 teams and who made the final cut.

                            34 @ 27

Bears went into Foxboro and made a statement, handing the Patriots only their 3rd loss of the season.

                            37 vs 38

The Giants playoff hopes diminished when they lost to the disappointing 3-12 Eagles, finishing 8-8 on the year.

Same for the Packers, their loss to the lowly Lions allowed the Bears to take the NFC North division. Packers also finished the season at 8-8.

                            12 @ 29

49ers lost and finished the season 8-8 but hold the tiebreaker to clinch the last postseason spot.
