Easy Schedule To Buffalo's Discredit?
On message boards and sports websites across the nation, people are making comments on threads, rankings, predictions, reviews and the like discrediting Buffalo, attempting to pave the way to an "asterisk season" due to the Bills easy schedule.
Let's be realistic here now. Would they rather the Bills bow out for the year until the other teams get their acts together?
Just to give you an idea of the type of comments we are talking about.
Originally posted by RockSteadyI swear man, right when I read that the Bills record was 8-1, a fucking pig was flying outside my window, with a slice of bacon in his grasp.Originally posted by sportsguy123A good (not great) team with a lucky break and suddenly they're dangerous. I guess thats what makes NFL football.Originally posted by footballfan123AFC East belongs to the Bills. It's not even fair in that division
The Chargers are the only team that the Bills have faced so far this season that are currently are above .500.
At 8-1 on the year, the Bills are already undefeated in 6 road games. That means the Bills only have 2 road games left to be played in 2011.
After this upcoming game against the Redskins in Washington this Sunday, the Bills get to enjoy an almost unheard of 5 game home-stand (Patriots, Colts, Cowboys, Jets, Eagles) before facing the Dolphins (who are the only team to defeat the Bills this season) in Miami in the final week of the season.
Out of those remaining games, only the Cowboys and Eagles are above .500, both currently sitting at 7-2.
All that matters is that the Bills get it done in January. And we know that won't be easy.
Perhaps the bias is a bit of a runaway train. Or does this argument hold water?
What say you?Comment

Week 12 Preview
Sunday, November 27, 1:00 PM @ Ralph Wilson Stadium
(9-1) vs (5-5)
Just when you thought the Patriots were done for and a power shift was happening in the AFC East.
The Patriots, who started off the season a dismal 0-5, have since won 5 straight to get back to .500.
And with how poorly the Dolphins and Jets are playing (again), the Patriots find themselves 2nd in the division.
The Patriots 5 straight wins? The second longest active winning streak in the league right now.
Second to yours truly.
The Bills are riding the momentum of an impressive 7 game winning streak. Coincidentally the 1st game of this streak was a win over the Patriots, in a Monday night matchup in week 4 that saw the Bills defeat the battered and bruised Patriots 45-37.
But now the reigning Super Bowl Champions are healthy. And even worse, will probably stop at nothing to get themselves back into the playoffs.
The Bills have had it relatively easy all year but now, with the playoff stretch upon us, the stakes are higher than they have been all season.
Patriots Key Additions: LOLB Manny Lawson (78), ROLB Justin Durant (78), LE Kale Cooper R* (77)

I suggest you turning up your pass defense a little bit? You might be getting too many picks as a team.

Terrence Mcgee - 83
Cary Harris - 78
Theodore West - 75
Jairus Byrd - 81
Ko Simpson - 78
Donte Whitner - 86
Not to mention, 3 80+ Linebackers and a D- Line with Marcus Stroud 92, Aaron Maybin (85), Tolliver (85), Parker (81).
I'm almost last in the league in sacks as a team. With this difficulty, the quarterback always seems to get the ball off the millisecond before I get there. A lot of times I get burnt because of it and sometimes the pressure is enough to force them into bad decisions.
I just finished the Pats game. Update coming in a bit.
