Bills Name Captains For 2009
The Buffalo Bills have announced WR Lee Evans, QB Trent Edwards, DE Aaron Schobel and SS Donte Whitner have been selected by their teammates as the teams's captains for the 2009 season.
Evans and Edwards will represent the offense while Schobel and Whitner will represent the defense.
Each player will have a letter ‘C’ badge affixed to their uniform to signify this honor. Their responsibilities will include assisting in the on-field communication with the game officials.
In May 2007, the NFL introduced the team captain initiative with the purpose of supporting and recognizing the importance of team leadership. The initiative has been strongly endorsed by the NFL head coaches and by the six-member NFL Player Advisory Council that was established in April by Commissioner Roger Goodell in conjunction with the NFL Players Association.
Team captains are a key element in building team leadership and enhancing communication between players, coaches and management,Comment

Week 1 Preview
Monday, September 14, 7:00 PM @ Gilette Stadium
(0-0) @ (0-0)
While these two teams may not always be headed in the same direction, they are long time AFC East Rivals.
Much will be revealed tonight.
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady should be dropping back to pass on his surgically rebuilt left knee. Terrell Owens will be running routes in a Buffalo Bills uniform for the first time.
The Bills quickly will find out whether they're ready to compete in the AFC East. They are coming off three straight 7-9 seasons, but have shown desperation in signing Owens.
Fans don't have to hail from Patriot Nation to be interested in how Brady will look in his first action since crumpling to the Gillette Stadium turf on Opening Day one year earlier.
"As we know, our division's awfully tough," Bills coach Dick Jauron said. "The Patriots up until last year just ruled the division. We're chasing them and everybody else. We're trying to get better. We know how talented they are. We know how good they are. It'll be a great challenge for us, a great way to start the season."
The last time the Bills won in Foxborough was in 2000. Tonight may be no different.

If I were you I'd definitely sign another backup QB. I was playing the Bills online and this dude was tearing me apart with Edwards, then he got hurt and he put in the backup and I picked him off 3 times in less then 7 minutes.sig is too big, resize itComment

Holy fuck, rofl. You gotta be kidding me. I just unlocked 2 trophies with one INT in the end zone by Leodis Mckelvin.
1. Buzzkill - for intercepting a pass intended for Randy Moss
2. Mr. Not-so-Perfect - intercepting a Tom Brady Pass
Gimme a fuckin break.Comment

Until I find a decent slider set or something, this is put on hold. Just really not happy with the way the game is playing. Both teams just fly up and down hte field back and forth and it's fun if I was playing against another person but for a franchise, not so much.
When it happened in the 1st game against the Bears, I figured it was just the Bears. But the same thing happened with the Packers and now the Patriots. Not to mention, the CPU opts to pass at least 85% of the time, which is pretty rediculous.
I think I'll stick to my NBA/side-MLB niche for chising and keep Madden for Online Franchise play only. lol.
We'll see what happens.Comment
