          Week 1 Preview
Sunday, September 12, 1:00 PM @ Ralph Wilson Stadium

          (0-0) vs (0-0)

It appears that the Bills won't have to wait very long for a chance to avenge their loss to the team that knocked them out of the postseason in the divisional round a season ago.

After defeating the Bills, the Steelers went on to advance to the Super Bowl where the Cardinals dished out a little paybback for their Super Bowl loss to the Steelers a year ago.

While the Bills made noticeable improvements to bolster their lineup this offseason, the Steelers come into 2010 sporting the same squad for the most part, aside from Dan Kreider at the fullback spot.

The Steelers core is still in the prime of their careers while guys like Santonio Holmes are emerging into perenial Pro-Bowlers.

As one fan so eloquently put it, "An opening day rematch with the assholes that knocked you out of the playoffs. Nice."

I nearly jumped out of my chair. I thought I was going to have to pull a game winning drive out of my ass but Parrish brought it home. At first I saw the hole and figured I would get it to maybe midfield and be in decent position to win it on a field goal. Saw that first defender, spun. Then broke a tackle.

Most exciting win I've had so far.

Parrish's Overtime Kick-off Return Thrills Bills

On the evidence of a dramatic first week of play in a number of week 1 games, this NFL season promises to be one of the most unpredictable and open of recent years.

The most explosive finish of the night came in Buffalo, where the Steelers tied the score against the Bills with 47 seconds remaining when Ben Roethlisberger threw a 4-yard touchdown pass to TE Heath Miller. The game went into overtime.

Bills' WR and return specialist Roscoe Parrish led the league a season ago in kick return yards and in kick return touchdowns (5) netting him his first career Pro-Bowl selection.

The Steelers had been warned, but failed to heed the lessons of history. Parrish fielded the overtime kick-off, returning it 103 yards for the game-winning score. In doing so, he became only the third player ever to win an overtime game with a kick-off return.

"After I broke that last tackle, I knew it was going to be a foot race, and I didn't know if I had enough gas to make it to the end zone," he said. "I was thinking to myself, please don't get caught, but I made it. Game over."
