Wonder how that plays out.
Can't wait for Trent Edwards' progression.
But if you read the preview/game for the last game I played (against the Titans), you'd see they signed Matt Hasselbeck. He's the main man in Tennessee now. :pet:

Lovie Smith gonna take us to the SHIP!Comment

Lynch Headlines Re-Signees Returning For Another Run
The Buffalo Bills were able to come to negotiate contract extensions with a number of players. Here is a breakdown of those deals.

- TE Shawn Nelson to a 4 year deal worth $7.78M

However, the Bills were unable to come to terms with CB Cary Harris. Cary Harris and his agent were rumored to be looking for a 4 year deal worth $25M. In an effort to maintain financial flexibility in free agency, the Bills will allow Cary Harris to test free agency waters.

Bills Open Up The Checkbook To Patch Up Hole
To say Kawika Mitchell's 2011/2012 campaign was disappointing would probably be an understatement. Mitchell's numbers took a steep dip in Ron Meeks' defensive scheme and Mitchell, 32, appears to be on the decline physically. Sophomore Evander Grimble doesn't look quite ready yet either. Coming into free agency, it was obvious the Bills most glaring need was at the outside linebacker position.
The Bills made a move to sign a linebacker that reeks of desperation for a championship, signing former Cowboy Keith Brooking to a 1 year deal worth 8 million dollars.
Brooking has led the Cowboys to the Super Bowl and to the NFC Championship over the past 2 years, respectively.
"I'm leaving America's team for North America's team," Brooking said with a laugh at a news conference. "These guys brought me here because they want to win a ring. And that's what I want. That's what I'm here for. I looked at the defensive side of ball and offensive side of the ball, and these guys have all the pieces."
"We all know of his tremendous ability and look forward to what he will bring to our defense," Bills owner Ralph Wilson said in a statement. "This is a very exciting day for the Buffalo Bills."
While Brooking is accustomed to anchoring the defense at middle linebacker, he will likely slide over and play the right side.
For the Bills, the signing is their biggest splash since acquiring wide receiver Terrell Owens in 2009. Another move that appeared to be out of desperation. Only that time, it was desperation to return to the postseason.
"'Wow!' was my first reaction," Bills linebacker Paul Posluszny said. "I know we were looking at some different linebackers out there. I didn't know if we were going to make the move for him or not. We did and it worked out. I'm very excited for everybody."Comment
